No matter what movie comes out. No matter how it impacts me. Somehow Avatar always returns to be my favorite film. It isn't the greatest or most original film ever made but it's just such a treasure to enjoy. The characters while simple are good and the actors fit their roles very well. The world is breathtaking and to this day the film is just beautiful in so many ways. Avatar is a testament to the fact that world-building and pain-staking care in special effects elevates the story being told every time.

I just re-watched this movie today on Disney + and i'm still taken aback by the how beautiful the visuals are. It's amazing that this movie is nearly 13 years old, yet looks like it could've been released today. This movie was truly ahead of its time in terms of visual effects.

what would have been cool is if the ending theme played while the camera still panned and zoomed through the planet all the way to the atmosphere. Then at the end of the song, where the planet clouds up again then get a whole shot of the planet itself in its lonely place in the universe. That would have been an ending.
Thank you, I watched this on tv in Australia just now. They squashed the credits down to 1/3 of the screen, stopped the audio and played an ad literally over the top of the credits while fast forwarding them! Then taking up the bottom of the screen with the same ad.

I dint know its potential then, but then the whole movie came out in DVD and I watched the flying mountains Hallelujah and thats the time I got mesmerised to this whole movie and finally when I saw Jake and Neythiri winning the whole war, it was the best 🙂

I dint know its potential then, but then the whole movie came out in DVD and I watched the flying mountains Hallelujah and thats the time I got mesmerised to this whole movie and finally when I saw Jake and Neythiri winning the whole war, it was the best 🙂

Avatar may not be a film I always go back to. However after I rewatch it once in a while (just rewatched it yesterday) I just continue liking the movie more. It’s a fascinating world to return to.

Definitely go to animal kingdom for Pandora its absolutely amazing especially at night its a long time for the rides but definitely worth the wait 😃

Participated in a movie quiz not long ago with songs from the movies. They tried being sneaky and used a small part from this song (which is the credits so less known) took me a while but the riffs are always recognizable. This movie marked me a lot, especially because of how young i was when it came out.
