I read pride and prejudice and zombies on a whim several years ago. Being a fan of the original and not super into zombies, I was expecting it to be dumb, but I was bored, So I gave it a try… and it was genuinely entertaining!
@@sarawithoutanH A very random historical fiction called The Uninvited Guests by Sadie Jones. 2.96 stars 🤪 I read it in 2013 and I just remember thinking that it was trying to be clever & smart and I wasn't sure if I was just too dumb to get it or whether there wasn't actually anything to get. 🙃
i've been enjoying your channel, glad i found it! i think your honesty on books is great and i appreciate the way you summarize works without spoiling too much! 🎃🧡🍊
Hide is the only book in this list that I've read, and it's definitely a hot mess. I liked learning about several characters but it was hard to keep track of everyone versus if it was more focused on one protagonist. And even with that aside, the backstory of why things were happening was pretty "meh" for me. 🍊
The only bok I read from this list was Pride and prejudice and zombies and I really loved it. But I was 15 at the time and I think I read it before Pride and prejudice so I don´t think I´d like it now 10 years later :D
I saw the Kindle version of Hide for 99p. I knew it was hated, so got it anyway as it was so cheap lol. I'm so sorry about the hate comments you got. People can be so rude. You're amazing. Cheers from the UK
Now I have to go see what the worst books I've read are according to goodreads. Thanks for giving me something else to do instead of actually reading my huge TBR. 🤪
Not really relevant to your video but I liked don't worry darling too, and while googling trying to figure out why people didn't like it I discovered one of the top Google searches for that movie is "is don't worry darling based on a true story?" and I've never been the same. In what world. I just can't with people.
Looool they really thought technology was that advanced. I think people didn't like it just to be cool. Harry Styles acting wasn't even bad - idk what other way they expected that character to act? I had a good time watching it.
I actually liked the movie. It could have been better and I wish I knew more but I actually enjoyed the movie. I thought Harry Style’s acting was just fine.
@@sarawithoutanH Most of them 😂 The Husbands, Camp Slaughter, Hide, The Cabin at the End of the World, and Catherine House. I was obviously so caught up in the hype and the ideas but am glad to knock a few off my ever growing tbr 😂
I read a book with a 2.88 rating this year. Fan Club by Erin Mayer. I think the 2.88 is generous. It was SO boring. Two "exciting" things happened and both were off page. And this book would make me very uneasy if I was Ariana Grande.
its mind boggling to me to hear that a fan of marzia would start criticizing someone's appearance for disliking a book... like, aren't marzia's fans supposed to be wholesome and kind?? marzia would be so dissapointed of them and i hope they know that
My worst rated book has 5 ratings the average being 1.8 and there is no synopsis and I cannot find any author information online. I don't remember reading this book and maybe that's for the best.
You mentioned you don't like weird books, so now I'm curious, how do you feel about Bunny by Mona Awad? It was one of my five star reads this year and I really loved it
p&p and zombies cover always throws me off bc the art on the cover is the art thats on the cover of my copy of Emma so it's like wait but that girls Emma not lizzie ?? obviously it's just some random girl but haha😅
I gave Tinfoil Butterfly, Cabin at the End of the World, and Catherine House all five stars. I definitely get why people don’t like these books, but they really worked for me. Hide was atrocious, still probably one of the most disappointing books EVER for me lol
Uhm....Orange. I am on my computer....no emojis....to my knowledge. I am way to old and lazy to watch stuff on my handy. But I usually watch videos till the end unless it is triggering. I love your videos about dark romance, taboo romance and ...mafia romance? I laughed so much. I think I actually read one of the taboo pics before I saw the video. I read Credensce (dunno the spelling) when I had a manic phase and that shit was horrid and I don´t even mind same age, no power dynamic incest.......but the mysogony, violence and bad writing was atrocios. And worst offence to all of these books (dark, taboo, mafia) is that the ones I vaguely remember were boring as fuck.
One thing about me I learned was if I hate the main character I tend to hate the book 😅 Red, White, and Royal Blue was what made me realize ironically. Couldn’t stand Alex(?) but loved Henry. Alex ruined it for me 😅 I did read it as someone who is Bi and in the closet, but it’s just the way Alex acted that I hated. I just idk. I hated I didn’t like it when it’s so hyped. Several people have asked shocked about it for me cuz of me hating it. 🫠
I didn't love RWRB either! I think I gave it 4 stars when I read it because I was caught up in hype, but I think realistically it's more 2.5 stars for me because I thought the writing was very cringey
I can’t believe people left hate comments, do those people not realise that people are allowed to dislike things? 🤔
They really don't realize that I'm afraid

It was just a fun lil book!
I’m reading pride and prejudice right now
I'll probably never read those books, but it's so fun listening to your reviews!
Catherine House is the third lowest rated book I've read. At the time, I described it as "beautiful nothing-ness." 😂🍊
Curious what your number one is!

I never read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but I liked the movie pretty well! I kind of want to rewatch it now!
I remember I gave Catherine House a 3.5 but looking back at my review I was very confused about it so maybe I should lower it hahaha
😂 you were caught up in the moment

“im sorry im a random white girl without lip-filler” 😭🍊
I'm a weird book girlie. I love Catherine House so much! So funny how book taste works
I've not read Any of these, and I applaud my good sense. 👏 😂
I wanted to make my FMC short and skinny lol but I made her tall due to the commonality of small FMCs

I read it age 30 😂 but yeah the zombies might not stand the rest of time for you
Highly recommend the original Stepford Wives movie from the 70s

A couple of these were on my tbr… now they are not 😂 Thanks for the heads up! Loved this video 💕 🍊

Yikes that's a low rating for sure!
I really want to read Catherine House just to see which side I fall on 🍊
Definitely could go either way!!
Camp slaughter: as you described it, it's definitely ableistic 👀

Well now I gotta know what it is!
I tried to read P&P and Zombies, but had to dnf. However, the movie was entertaining.🍊
i'll have to watch the movie!

Hide isn’t even in my top 20. I’ve read some truly awful books 😂
Wow 😂😂😂
I found camp slaughter super fun... in a trashy way

Have you read Comfort me with Apples? Just saying if you like, Stepford wives
No but I think I'm going to! I've gotten it recommended to me a few times

Not interested in Jane Austen… but pride and prejudice and zombies??? Now THAT I would be interested in 😂

Marzia fans making fun of you for thin lips is pretty funny considering Marzia has thinner lips than yours
does she go on wattpad or only good reads?
