Viva Chile, impresionante como siempre la técnica del maestro Hamelin y una asombrosa cuestión artística de Rzewski, todo es político como dicen. Cómo chileno siento un alivio tremendo el saber que este disco existe, nadie puede negarlo.
I love this piece, but the press review excerpts rub me the wrong way. "Contemporary?" Yes, Rzsewski is still alive, but this piece is older than I am. That is not my definition of contemporary music. Edit: Scratch that. Rzewski died in June. Why did I not know? :o Well that makes the piece even less contemporary. ;)
