it does worry me a bit, but not as much as it would worry the average guy, my investment portfolio has survived a couple of recessions unscathed, been privileged to be guided under the stewardship of an extremely gifted investment manager by the name Nelson Maynard Fisher

The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400,000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
very true, I started investing before the pandemic and that same year I pulled a profit of about $600k with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was seeking guidance from a financial-advisorr, you can be passively involved with the aid of a professional.
I'll suggest you create a diversification strategy because building a good financial-portfolio has been more complex since covid. Recently my colleague advised me to hire an advisor, surprisingly I have accrued over $120K under the guidance of my coach during this crash. She figured out Defensive strategies to protect my portfolio and make profit from this roller coaster market.
Very true , I diversified my $400K portfolio across multiple market with the aid of an investment advisor, I have been able to generate over $900k in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds in few months.
Rather than contributing to one fund, selling and starting another fund, I would contribute to one fund for 5yrs and then stop contributing to it and let it grow while I ADD another fund with current contributions. No selling, just buying and growing. No taxes, just growth.
VOO is perfect for a Roth. SCHD tends to underperform the S&P 500, I personally would put it in a taxable account. Why did you buy it? For growth, the other two are suited for a Roth.
That's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+

Hey man! Just got started with investing and I'm still really confused. I understand how powerful compounding is, but I'm confused on how compounding affects stocks. Like I buy a single $100 stock, then it goes up 10%. So the stock is now worth $110. How do I earn interest on that $110 stock now? It's not like dividend stocks where I can actually reinvest the payout into buying more stocks. Everyone always uses bank interest as their example so is it possible you could make a video explaining how it actually works with stocks? Thanks!
Let's say you bought $100 in stock and the value go up 10%.. now your stock is worth $110. Then the next year it appreciates 10% again.. so your stock is now worth $121.. and the next year it increases 10% again.. it's now worth $133.1.. that's how compounding works.. you multiply the value of the stock by ther percentage yield each year.
@@steveanhn1 Makes sense, I guess I got confused since I'm still learning all the jargon and people tend to mix and match terms so it's not exactly straightforward. In this case it's not actually interest that compounds but potential return then?

It's really simple. Just VOO & chill.
Exactly. If the market crashes, just hold and don’t sell. Eventually the market will improve, like always, and the top 500 will grow again
What about splg ? It's identical but cheaper

@@NM-jz5xb ...when there's a "Red Tag" sale, most people love those! In the world of investing, that same mindset should be utilized, because when the S&P or SPY/VOO goes red, that's a buying signal right there to load up or buy as much as you can! 😉💯💚💪
I totally agree.
If you had $250k, which investments would you go for in terms of maximizing returns and mitigating risks? I'm semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours weekly. Looking for opportunities in the market that can fetch me millions, then I can retire.
I would advise the counsel of a seasoned financial pro. It may seem expensive, but as the old saying goes - "you get what you pay for" "Expert solutions require Expert providers" - my mantra
Agreed, I'm in line with advisory services cos, my job doesn't permit me the time to analyze stocks myself. Thankfully I got fully invested 2020 amid covid-outbreak, and as of today, my portfolio has 5X in 4 years, summing up nearly $1m.

excellent share, curiously inputted Katherine Nance Dietz on the internet, spotted her consulting page ranked top and was able to schedule a call session. Ive seen commentaries about advisors but not one looks this phenomenal
Very informative video you have, I have been able to understand the messages you pass but there are some other challenges that may come about when taking some other risks
I don’t think anyone that has dedicated time, money and efforts to scale to new net worths in whatever field of investments hasn’t reach some of the challenges that you would face personally.
My bro has been able to help with such issues through a CFA he was able to link me up with. Since hiring my advisor? It’s been better handling such financial turmoil that may happen
it does worry me a bit, but not as much as it would worry the average guy, my investment portfolio has survived a couple of recessions unscathed, been privileged to be guided under the stewardship of an extremely gifted investment manager by the name Nelson Maynard Fisher
Sure.. Nelson Maynard Fisher has a really unique gift of being able to looking far ahead down the road to spot future investment portholes and possible major mishaps, so he helps me make the safest investments and also helps me hedge all my investments against possible future downturns
Ok… I’ve been able to do some research on the Web and I found his site, he has his license so that’s reassuring

yep, good reminders! thanks humphrey!
Please can you leave the info of your investment advisor here? I’m in dire need for one.
Target date funds are funds of funds. So you’re in multiple different funds.
I like adjusting portfolio whenever I add funds. Don't have patience for five or ten years for target date fund to change ratios.
Really enjoying your channel! I'm all the way up to date with your videos 😢 Thank you for all the information. Making strides 😁
Rather than contributing to one fund, selling and starting another fund, I would contribute to one fund for 5yrs and then stop contributing to it and let it grow while I ADD another fund with current contributions. No selling, just buying and growing. No taxes, just growth.
My portfolio is currently just two ETFs SWLD and VHYL some overlap but sector allocation and exposure is different
Whats your opinion on VOO ,QQQM AND SCHD IN ROTH IRA ? Thanks in advance for
VOO is perfect for a Roth. SCHD tends to underperform the S&P 500, I personally would put it in a taxable account. Why did you buy it? For growth, the other two are suited for a Roth.
What in your opinion is the best Bond Fund? I am a beginner investor and have not yet looked into bonds, just stocks right now.
That's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+
How can I reach this adviser of yours? because I'm seeking for a more effective investment approach on my savings
WHITNEY KAY STACY is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

Hey Hump,
Really enjoyed this video, as always appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos! I had two questions:
1. I own both VOO and VTI in my Roth IRA it looks like they overlap by 86%. Should I just start investing in VTI? Should I exchange all shares into VTI, would I be taxed?
2. I know you have another video on this that I will probably rewatch, but at what age would you start investing in something safer like VSMGX and is there a way to not be taxed if I wanted to let’s say sell all my VTI and put it in VSMGX
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. What do you think of my 3 fund portfolio. I have VOO in my roth ira and try to do at least $5000 per year. I also have SCHD in my brokeragelink and QQQM in my Roth 401k, and i try and do at least $100 per month in each of those two.
One fund here. FXIAX in 401k and FNILX in HSA/Roth IRA.
Hi Humphrey! I need a simple video on how to automate a three or two fund portfolio but on the same brokerage platform. I'm with Merrill Lynch Edge because my former employer used it. PLEASE- what questions should I ask ML Edge so that I'm not hit with heavy fees? I'm just putting my 401K into an IRA BUT I really want to chuck it all in a ROTH. Any thoughts? Thank you sir!!
Currently just in 3 funds. VOO, BND, and XME. So, S&P500, bond market, and metals/mining.
Me owning 5 ETF´s and 6 Funds realising my overlap is crazy but still don't knowing what I want to get rid off. The ETF's overlap a lot and the Funds overlap a bit but the funds don't overlap with the ETF's that much.

Hello great videos. What do you think about SCHD?

You’re a good friend bro!
New to this but i think im going to be funding 80% into voo and 20% into vxus to cover the bases
@@cupnoodlegaming1004 Yes.. it's not interest that's compounding but the value of the stock itself

That’s the cool thing about investing, they gain value relative to purchasing power
