      Are you racing it this year?? This is a really rich event. My brothers and I are doing it this year. Camping is amazing there. Hopes the video helped out some. It’s a fun race course.. RPR is awesome!! Thanks for the comment see yah there I hope!!

      @@senderoni5oh Yes I’m signed up to race this year. I need to make the drive up and ride it to see what I need to work on. I’m guessing that the climbing would be the hardest for a guy from Houston where everything is totally flat?

      @@VenableAdventures that’s dope!! I’ve ridden there a few times since the last years race!! I’ll be there also. My brothers snd i are racing it. I love the Austin area. The race is tough as hell it almost broke me down. I got 29th. Hoping to do top 20 this year.

    Great footage and one of the few trail previews I can find. I saw the video cut out a few times and I'm just curious about the parts that weren't shown. Were they not technical at all? How did you determine what made it into the video and what didn't? Either way, thanks for the video. Pretty cool!

      Thanks for watching dude!! I tried to keep the video from being so long so I cut some frames out. For the most part I put in the things I thought was difficult or technical. I tried to show a few minutes of the first few miles and a few min of the middle and end. For the most part the whole trail looks like the single track in the video. Appreciate you watching and commenting on the video.. are you racing the rattler in November ??

      @Jason Hoover I’m def going to be there. It’s a lot of single track. Nothing real crazy.. it’s about a 2hr lap. The event was fun last year.
      I don’t know if you did already.. just wondering if you would subscribe to the channel. It helps out a lot. And thanks again for watching!!

    Anything more technical than what you’ve shown?

    • @senderoni5oh
      @senderoni5oh 3 года назад

      That’s about as technical as it gets. There are a few quick turns here and there that you have to watch out for. For the most part it’s just typical single track. It’s really fun though. I’m heading there in a few weeks. Are you racing??

      @@senderoni5oh , I wanted to, but don’t have my November call schedule, and I waited to late looks like and race is full. I’m on the wait list, but still don’t know if I’m on call that weekend.

      @@senderoni5oh I just started training at all again 5 weeks ago. Mostly gravel. I did Ironman racing for 12 years and have taken a break for 3 years, but ready to get back. I’m sure 60 miles on my MTB won’t feel to good, but riding is the fun part.

      It was a gnarly race race last year.. sounds like you have the endurance to handle it. The heat was what got me last year. Sounds like you’re use to long events, you might do really well dude. My brother is a Tri guy.. he did pretty good. The rattler is a legit mtb trail. It’s also a fun place to ride. Are you in Texas?

    Would you happen to know the elevation gain and descent for a complete lap?

    • @senderoni5oh
      @senderoni5oh 2 года назад +1

      It was almost 2.5k a lap. I think total for the 100k was like 8k of climbing. I was shocked at how much climbing there was in Texas .. if you haven’t already hopefully you will subscribe to the channel ?? shockingly a lot of climbing for Texas 🤘🤘

      I’m running maxxis assegai front and rear. You could get away with more xc tires though.
