Reading and studying the bible is great, but God calls us to be DOERS of the word. Today's bible study focuses on the importance of how to be doers of the word and not just hearers. Jesus acted on the word by serving others and loving them through his actions. He actively looked for ways to help others regardless of how he felt. As a Christian, I strive to live the word and live like Christ in order to help bring others to HIM. This is something I really want to start doing more. I have an example of one time when my husband and I followed the Word and it turned out so well. We used to own a cleaning business and we got a job cleaning for a lawyer. I wasn't good at estimating time and I estimated the first clean rather low. I spoke with his assistant before the clean and told her that it might take longer than I thought (cost more) and she said okay. It ended taking twice as long as I thought it would. Everything was okay until he received the bill. He then cancelled service at the last minute and sent us a very nasty letter saying that we had never even come there to clean, we had only taken out the trash and that he wasn't going to pay us. We were so upset. My husband said that we would follow the Word. So he found a Scripture (the one about being kind to your enemies to heap burning coals on their heads). He then wrote the lawyer a nice letter telling him that we had cleaned and had tried to do a very good job and that we had even not charged him for an hour of our time. He told him that we wouldn't go after him for the money and my husband even gave him a compliment in the letter. My husband said that we should never read the letter from the lawyer again because it was poison. We felt at peace with the situation after that and we never read that letter again. We didn't receive the money from the lawyer but a few months later we received a mysterious check for $200, the same amount the lawyer owed us, from some power company. We felt that God had given us the money another way because of how we handled the situation.

My pastor preached about this a few Sundays ago. This is an amazing topic. I am still new to your channel but I am truly going to stick around for more bible study. I came as I mentioned on a previous video, for your videos on using your daliy planner and your Bible study as one planner but now I just can't leave lol. I have only watched a few videos and I am not sure if you made a video showing how you use to use them both as one if you did make a video like that can you link it for me or tell where to find it please. Believe it or not, what helps me is to try and remember to pray for that person. I also try to remember all the mistakes that I make and extend others grace based on that. Please note that I only get it right about half the time but I keep trying.
