This song reminds me of my relationship with my dad. We always fight a lot, because he has done some very bad shit in the past. But no matter how much i lie to myself, or how much he lie to himself, he wil never change. He wil keep on making the same mistakes, and i wil keep on forgiving him, because, well, he is my dad, and i love him after all. As the songs says, it feels like all i ever do is pay for your excuses. Just me and my mom, proving that we can love the worst of you.
