As a Pompey fan, I loved Connor Chaplin. He never seemed to be able to fit in with various managers p[ans. I would be interested in what position he plays, he is a natural goal scorer.
Yeah he plays number 10 for us, part of a central pair behind the striker with Marcus harness who you’ll also be familiar with, picked up a shirt with Chaplin on the back this season so great to see all the goals he’s getting! Great that you lot all applauded him when he came back to play at fratton park. In his interviews he always speaks very positively of his time at Portsmouth, the club and the fans. Polar opposite of what he says about Barnsley as a club
0:44 notice how the ref was going to blow the whistle but changed the decision based on whether the player went down. This weak decision making happened consistently this game and throughout this league - when will refs learn to watch the game not the players. His decisions were fine for us this time but it’s only a matter of time before he decides to influence the result of the game as we saw against Barnsley. Something needs to be done about the standard of refereeing - they must be held accountable.

I think he might have just been debating whether it was a foul? Watching it, the Accrington player makes no contact, so I think it's the right call
