Queen On Street is a young star in Phuket Thailand. Her name is Fiat and she is the queen of Phuket nightlife! Amazing street singer at the age of only 13. I was lucky to meet Queen On Street and to have a little chat with this amazing street singer at Phuket old town. Fiat might be right about the locals not showing the same kind of attention as the tourists does when she's on street performing. I'm from Asia too and I believe it's cultural and the fact that her songs are in English. Noticeably and obviously, tourists are more drawn to her because of that fact but mostly, of course, her strong vocals and the gorgeous voice with that rich tone and I may add that she has a remarkable mix-bag of song selections which are fantastic.- from current popular pop to some older ones! She already has a wide repertoire of music genre and she and her Dad wisely knows when to perform specific songs to hold her audience captive and linger on. One can see the smiles and adoring gestures and the enjoyment they're having after she sings .Did I mention how well she interact with them too, and with her infectious dance moves, lots of people in the audience can't resist the urge dancing too-and with her! Her experience performing at a very young age of 8 on street has given her the confidence and learned how to grab people's attention and get them to stay and watch her perform more than they intended to🙂. No doubt in my mind that Fiat's musical talents and her charming personality will carry her very far and one day, a huge star in the music art! Thanking her for the joy she has been giving and sharing to all of us!

Wow. 2 months of watching video after video of Fiat and my algorithm just flagged down this interview for me today for the first time. As I expected, Fiat is very honest and forthcoming discussing the details of her life - and speaks excellent English and somehow without a strong Thai accent. I have Thai friends in California who have been living here for 10-30 years and they don't speak English nearly as well as these young girls in Bangkok and Phuket.
I would have liked the video to last as long as one of her performances, but I appreciate Altero getting what he could and sharing with us. One question I'd love to ask Fiat, Petty, and Nene Royal is how did they acquire such excellent English at such a young age. Each of them is mentored by family members who don't themselves speak more than minimal English.
I'm appreciative that you are seeking out interviews with these miracle child prodigies Altero. As discussed in comments to another video, I'm really hoping and praying that you can do a detailed interview with the girl who I consider to be the most mysterious and intriguing of the young Thai musicians of the ones who almost never speak in these videos, and that is the very popular Pao Pao - who played with both Fiat in Phuket, and now is locked in with Petty's band in Bangkok. I have a feeling it won't be easy to get her to do a video focused on her talking to the fans, and if she does it, I expect her to be shy and reluctant to say much (unlike Fiat). But I will be very curious to hear whatever she has to say . I don't know - does Pao Pao speak English? If not, happy to rely on the captions. An interview with Mefa would also be eagerly received on your channel - but at least we get a sense of Mefa's personality on her own channel ("Mefa Music"). Thanks again Altero!
