It would nice if you actually left a link to the original source. Very rude of you to just copy stuff and not give any credit where it's due.

There is no 'original source' as such - the translation IS Inessa's... so therefore the original is hers.

There is no question that thousand years ago there was one common Slavic language. As a matter of fact the Slovenian (dialect) that I've Iearnt from my mother 70 years ago is much closer to Russian than the Slovenian they speak at present in the Slovenian Capital Ljubljana. Croatia cleaned up its language. It threw out foreign words and replaced them with old Slavic words. The result is that today Croatian I understand 100%. On the other side, Slovenian, which is my mother tongue I understand much, much less.
There is no question, if Slavs plan to exists, that they have to unite and accept a common language. The transition might take 50 years, but just think about the benefits. Existence of the Slavs being the most important.
In 1924 President Putin will still have a lot of energy left. A great noble project for Vladimir Putin would be the Modern Slavic language. Good luck. A Slavic Canadian.

The current push to use Ukrainian Nationalists (aka NAZI collaborators) began in the late 1940's - with the CIA identifying and supporting them against the USSR.
But even after the USSR fell - the NeoCons never really acknowledged their loss of a boogeyman - and therefore continued to pretend that Russia had visions of global domination - when in fact, that was always their own monopolar fantasy.
Zbigniew Brezezinsky talked about the imperial need to split Ukraine from Russia, as part of his "The Grand Chessboard" strategy - for world Empire.
That's who's pushing the Ukrainian separatism and division - the Atlantacists. And they're using Russia-hating white supremacists and Neo-Nazis to achieve their goals.

What i love is how putin will preach that russia is multi ethnic, and yet here he says russian and ukraine are the same. His history of the 13-16th centuries is fairly accurate but he deliberatly avoided talking about how Moscovy was actually the one who grew different from Kiev. Kiev came before moscow. They grew into different but similar principalities. His kind of thinking is pure soviet nostalgia. He is not respecting that it is natural for countries to gain independence.

    • @jayblack7166
      @jayblack7166 4 года назад +5

nope :D There are over 150 ethnicities in Russia. Ukrainian was artificially created as a nation from Russians.
Rus kingdoms was almost wiped out by tatar mongol invasion. Kievan Rus didn't exist really, later kiev conquered by poles. Not all territory, just western modern ukraine. Poles tried to convert Russians in Kiev. Language changed a bit, it was called surjik. Etc.
But real change happened in 1890s. When Poles opposition to russian empire went to galichina in austro hungary, with Russian population in it, and formed another nation, changed language even more adding more polish words, and trying to get people to believe that they was ukrainians. Those who resisted was killed. Austria supported this idea, because they didn't want Russians in galichina region to associate themselves with Russia.
And when civil war begun. And country was in total chaos, this poles and new ukrainians went to kiev and formed RADA, without asking people, or anyone else. But they only got control over kiev and some land around it.
When soviets came to power they should have disbanded this fake nation, but instead soviets wanted to seam like a UNION of socialist republics. So they cemented UKRAINE as a new nation, just like belarus. So it would seam that its not just one socialist country. And then given tons of territory to this new Ukraine that it never had :D To nation that didn't exist :D
Russia had over 10 ukrains :D every border land with another kingdom was called ukraine, and its strange to me that Putin knows that even pskov was called ukraine :D
Ukraine is made up nation named after border land. :D Its same Russian people, who was convinced by over hundred of years of propaganda that they are someone else other then Russians. First poles and austrians, then germans in ww1, then bolsheviks in soviet union, and now since 90s, every day they tell them that they are Ukrainians :D and have 2000000billion year history and has nothing to do with Russia :D

There was a title "Tsar of All Great, Little, and White Rus'". The title "Pathriarch of All Great, Little, and White Rus'" is still used in the orthodox church.

@@indycoon Yes but Malorossians is Russians moved from northern regions to overpopulate southern regions. When this territories was taken from other Khans, then moved to Crimea too when Crimean Chanate/ Ottomans lost war. Odessa was built by catherine the great, not ukraine.
Funny fact, all borderlands used to be called Ukraine, tho there is no mention of UKRAINIAN nation nowhere in history, until Poles and Austrians tried to form them in Galichina in Austria. There was never a Ukrainian nation, just a borderland name, and not only south, but all over Russian border.
When this pseudo fake ukrainians created RADA in kiev, and sent out letters to various villages and smaller towns around, calling people ukrainians, some who could write, wrote back asking "what is ukrainians and whats going on?" :D Not sure if this one true or not, but some even replied, "why u calling us ukrainians, we haven't stolen anything." Because in Russian ukral is word for stealing :D and sounds similar. In Russia they was all russians. Territory was called Mallorosya, thats why they sometimes was called mallorosya. Like in u live in California, u called Californian :D Its not like its a different nation just because this region has a name :D Like people who lived in Pskov was Pskovchane, while they was all Russians, just citizens or villagers in Pskov region :D

@@jayblack7166 you mixed Malorossia and Novorossia. Malorossia is an initial Russia, Small Russia. Novorossia is a land which was mostly populated after Katherine the Great has annexed Crimea and Crimean tatars finished slave trade from these territories to Turkey and Middle East. Katherine the Great then began to build many new cities like Odessa, Kharkov. Sevastopol etc These territories were populated by many nations including Greeks, Germans and Russians of course.

@Tania First of all, the holodomor was not a coincidence but was caused by intentional action. And so the Russians were also its victims, I am fully aware of that. I am also aware that many officials from that period were not Russian, but many were. And all the more I am surprised that many Russians (including the Russian authorities) to this day are celebrating people who were in power at that time and who murdered so many Russians. This is inconceivable to me. If I remember correctly, in 2015 the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was collecting signatures for a referendum to restore the monument of Feliks Dzerzhinsky to the Łubiański Square in Moscow - it is as if the Jews wanted to erect a statue of Adolf Eichmann in Tel Aviv.
