The psalmist said “Where can i go from your presence? If i ascend to heaven you are there Lord, even if i make my bed in hell you are there! If i should number your precious thoughts, it would outnumber the sand.”
I look at Jonah, who intentionally ran from your presence, ran to Tarshish. Denied you, turned from you, ended up in the uttermost parts of the sea and could still echo, “I cried for help in the depth of Sheol you heard my voice! You have brought up my life from the pit!”
