Personally id still quit, just because one person truly cares and the others only realize it after treating someone like an outcast over not going for drinks once or how they work is not a good working environment for anyone,tanaka should have quit and made them really realize what they truly had once its gone

Can't say I blame you since it happened to me too. What Hiiragi did was risky. They could've turned on Tanaka even more after hearing what he thought about them.
This happened to me back in elementary within three seconds of telling something private to someone else (that I had liked one of the other girls). The twit that I had the unfortunate luck to tell this to decided to turn around and blab about it to everyone else on the bus. Because doing *that* makes total sense.

Japan's work culture was in the past pretty brutal (it's getting a little better now). Pretty much, Japanese work is more like taking on a family. You all go out together, even if it means sacrificing personal time after work (Japanese wives hated this). It was common for workers to come home late, get barely any sleep, then wake up and go back to work +30 minutes earlier than expected.
So the illusion of him denying going out is that he's not a team player. I'm sure its also negatively affected other aspects of his work relationship not mentioned.
But like I said, that's kinda changing for the better.
Actually people do that all the time. They make an instant judgment based on one event. Sad really.

Yeah, gave me bad taste as well. Why should teach person who has been disrespectful and not even invite you to their party. Even from courtesy that you tried to teach them should have been invited. Every normal person after that will thing is not wanted and no reason stay in such professional environment.

Gotta be real here work especially in an office setting can have a very Highschool like vibe to the interactions with people and the cliques that are formed it’s never quite as bad as Highschool but considering I’ve seen people lose jobs because the “popular kid” didn’t like them that usually becomes a base example of how we are going to be in social situations later

Considering how Kasumi acted towards Yuto and how she treated him, Yuto should really go with Nagisa who actually cared about him and didn't treat him poorly at the smallest things like everyone else did. All the employees really need to reflect on that like Kasumi did.

School is for making friends. That’s one of the many reasons it exists. You go there to learn new stuff and also learn how to interact with others. Also depending on the schools students you can help build up connections
