Those shocks are massive! With that other level sender, it would have been pretty cool to watch your fuel level increase as you drove the truck. 😂

I reckon it would go from Enough to Fakked 🙃

Perfect timing dude, just about to install a fuel cell in my rig.

Heck yea man. Hit me up if you have any questions but it was pretty straight forward. My pump wasn’t marked with an arrow but the fuel flows toward the terminals. I had it in backward at first. The earls QD were too long for my pump so I got some off Amazon made by k motor they worked fine but they have tiny set screws. I’m gonna lock tite them so they don’t fall out. Other than that it worked perfectly

@@tims_4x4_garage hell yeah, what size hose did you use for the return and feed lines ?

@@jadalkhoury02 both the return and the vent lines on my truck were 1/4” (or metric equivalent) rubber hose connected with spring clamps from the factory. I came out of the fuel cell with the 8an -> 6an reducers and then a 6an 90° elbow with a 5/16” barb end because it was the smallest I could find. I connected the 5/16” rubber fuel line to the 1/4” lines with just barbed reducers and hose clamps. Since they were rubber hose with clamps from the factory I didn’t see any need to spend the money on AN stuff

@@tims_4x4_garage how long was the line that went from the tank to the fuel filter ?

@@jadalkhoury02 That I can’t answer off the top of my head. Don’t be like me and order 20ft because that’s way too much and the shiz is expensive. I guess it depends where you mount your cell and filter.

Do u have a part number for the fuel pump ?

I used an “e2000” fuel pump. it fits many 80s and 90s fords so it’s cheap and common. I read about it somewhere, probably pirate, and it has the correct flow and pressure. Has been working well. Make sure you clean whatever fuel cell you use because mine still had plastic particles in it even after shop vac’ing it out. I’m adding a fuel filter between the tank and the pump.
