@14:12 the 9700X is a 65w cpu that boosts up to 5.5g it’s going to be sought after for SFF builds because of it. AMD doesn’t have a 65w X3D chip yet. They could probably pull it off this gen with a 6 core cpu though. The question becomes buy the 9700 now or wait till 9600X3D comes out.
I used to like HTC phones, but all the ones I had suffered the same hardware flaw after a couple of years of use. They'd stop scratching the SIM card so you could make calls/texts/data, effectively turning the phone into a mini WiFi tablet. I don't want that lack of reliability in my life.
P.S. Micron is the largest of the memory manufacturers and they have been sampling there GDDR7 for quite some time, as a result I think Nvidia will not have any trouble getting the memory modules they need.
The part on GDDR7 Mircon and SK Hynix are different companies. So 1 might go into mass production of GDDR7 while the other isn't. As GDDR7 is a standard and all the pins have to work the same no matter who makes it changing vendors will not matter.
@@xrafter It is more so that if you want to go outside the JEDEC spec then how far outside the spec you can get the DRAM to go is around the same if you go with the same manufacturer but all have to make to the same spec. The part i think you are thinking of is most AIB graphics cards for consumers have factory overclocked RAM.
Why are we talking about 7800x3d vs 9700x vs 9800x3d for productivity when if we're talking about productivity the choices are the 7950x and the 7950x3d (and 9950x vs 9950x3d). And I've heard but haven't tested that there's a pretty large divide in terms of specific workload performance between these with games doing way better with x3d because if the low latency cache and productivity apps doing much better with non x3d parts because of the additional thermal overhead allowing bursty workloads to boost higher longer.
I bought a Ryzen 7 7700 through AliExpress for a total of €190,- (with customs costs included) for that price it is AMAZING. In the bios with pbo2 I have set up a negative -30 value and now it scores better then a 7700X in benchmarks while at the same time being more efficient!
The normal x to x3d productivity is not that big of a difference, but if you are just using it for productivity, then spending the extra money for the 3d is pointless.
Niiiiiice if 50 series are expected for next year that means I can wait for the ryzen 9 x3d and the rtx 50 series, will be starting to buy components lol
I don’t care whether or not AMD can beat the 7800x3D. I just want them to be up front about it, and what the focus is this generation. If gaming performance stalls and they decide to focus on productivity to compete with intel, then that’s fine, but be up front about it. PC gamers will do the research and keep up with news, and that’s where they hold most market share. If they tell us the truth and the whole truth, the good will could outweigh the fact that an entire generation wont improve for our use case.
they were hyped cause ppl thought it was TCL no other way to think about it this company cares about your privacy and that you just wanna use there products they dont care about anything else for real call them make up an issue with any of there products look at the level of suport i had an issue were my tv's mic dispite my tv ot being connected to the internet activated and my tv started trying to connect to internet when i told them this the had me do a full reset on the tv and have been calling me like 2x a week for the last 3 weeks asking how things are going and asking if they can do anything else for me as well as are adressing the issue i had were i had to accept googles TOS to use there tv even tho TCL does not even make you accept there own for real tho i have not had service like this since msi in 2014 when they made me a custom bios after remaking my entire system in lab and realizing they didnt build in support for 2pin cpu fan vs3 or 4 either way epic support right now comming from them!

APRIL? Sheiit CHECK THIS MANS HOUSE FOR A FLUX CAPACITOR
It feels like Apple missed the mark with Apple Intelligence. They could have called it iAI (pronounced "AYAYA").
April, huh? You sure you dont still have jetlag? 😅
you can tell that his special *Rare Brew* of coffee was just sitting there fresh and hot waiting to be ingested 😅
“Personal Intelligence” sounds about right. The iPhone is currently responsible for 50% of my intelligence.😂
Bret got a time machine taking us back to April 😂
April???
April? Did you move back in time?
9:46 I thought we were talking about SK Hynix so where does Micron fit into all of this? Editing error?
Micron also makes chips for nvidia too

Wait what
They upload the video early, in private, then make it public

The clever part of me would’ve liked Apple to call their AI “Genius”. I think tech media would’ve gone bonkers.

i don't think there will much issue of GDDR7 supply even if nvidia launch 5090/5080 this year.

So jedec complaint dram should work even with different manufacturers. I Don't much about this so it is good to know.
Micron have been making G5X and G6X. All excepted to JEDEC standard.

If nvidia does launch a new 5000 series card this year I could see GDDR7 being in the "Ti" / "Super" versions later in 2025 or early 2026.
