I wouldn’t say that these are dupes! Maybe similar vibes. Because I know and love some of the perfumes that you’ve listed here, but I didn’t “recognize” them as dupes while testing the new Zara line. (I’ll re-test though to see if I get the same thing that you do!)
Splendid Bronze ---Alien Essence absolue a very good smell if not the best of them new zara perfumes
Bye love -- not even close to Linterdit intense. I think its a terrible smell.

I tried garden once and liked it but it smelled like coconut cookies to me 😂 It was a long time ago so might sniff it again when i get the chance!
If Blank a-Porter smells like Molecule 01, it’s based on ISO E-Super, and it’s called the phantom Molecule, some people don’t smell so much, someothers feel it sooo present.
Put a layer first, spray over it, the other fragrance (a fresh one)
I'm so mad there isn't a Zara in my city, I want to sniff these so bad!! Wish they had a discovery kit of all of them, that would be so helpful, as they're a bit too pricey for me to just blind buy a bunch...because I'm curious about so many :D Lovely video as always, thanks for the reviews! :)

Agree.. velvet haze is between oriana and killian love dbs. Velvet haze opened with a bit orange vibe, but when dried down it is 100% oriana
I liked Spirited Romance, it is pure musk and very floral too. It's clean and fresh, like clean sheets I guess.

Zara just released other 8 new fragrances for men (probably most of them are unisex).
Four fragrance have Oud in the namez and are made by Alberto Morillas. Th other four seems to be inspired by white cotton and are made by Olivia Giacobetti.

Lovely video, I really enjoyed this. I also feel the same way about the LDBS dna but I don’t think it’s the marshmallow note that bothers you. It’s the mandarin orange/neroli that makes it harsh and synthetically sweet in my opinion. I’m happy to know I’m not alone with my utmost dislike for this fragrance lol because girls be hyping that fragrance up and I can’t stand it.
I think you're right! I associate that scent with the marshmallow but it could be the combo with that mandarin and neroli. Really can't stand it 😂 Although I don't like eating actual marshmallows either.

I only buy the dupes of what I have for my daughter so she leaves my stash alone. Sometimes these dupes smell amazing on so I run back and get the small size for myself.

Splendide bronze is a big surprise because is the only perfume that get Close to my beloved alien essence absolue , my eyes was coming out of my head and i blond bought it and first try it: so the nostalgics ones that Look for a perfume to substitute alien essence absolue ( dont know Why they stop making a selling beauty Like that one) this one is the closest that you’ll get outhere and i’ve looked for a verry long time.
So now i will get for sure the 100 ml bottle i hope they will keep for a while these perfumes as they tend to release new ones and cut the oldest ones.
I love your reviews but I wouldn’t say Fashionably London and Someday Sometimes are similar at all. Yes, they are both strong and intense but not similar in fragrance. For me the better beast is Someday sometimes with heavy projection on the skin and clothes. It stays on till the next day as well. I couldn’t quite place the notes but if you aren’t an Arabian, Oudh or rose fragrance lover, this may be a turn off for some people. Above all I love Someday sometimes and it would be in my closet soon 😊x

For those who don't have a store nearby, it would be very helpful to avoid spending money unnecessarily by buying blindly. Can I ask you if the perfume "Les heures passent" is similar to "Tuesday - Totally Terrific"?
Agreed, i’m hoping it will still come out but doubtful. I don’t think those two are similar, no. I think Tuesday is very sweet whipped cream mixed with a leathery note. Les heures passent is a soft cosy sweetened cinnamon ginger tea ☕️😊

My favorite are Bye Love, and Blanc-À-Porter! Oh and also the Velvet one, which is different from Barbie yet it smells a bit like Oriana and Love, don't be shy ❤

Thank you! A fantastic overview. Splendid Bronze sounds like it'd be a splendid layering jasmine. 😉 Despite loving it, Alien was always just a bit much for me. But if you dial it down, I feel like it'd work very well with gourmands. Btw, they just came out with 2 new collections in the men's section too! Another 8 fragrances 😯 Zara is on a ROLL this year.

I love Ebony Wood. But I get zero cherry. I get more like a citrus/coriander accord at the top, and then it’s all pepper and cloves and wood. It’s a bright spicy woody fragrance.
Not sure where everyone is getting cherry. And it’s nothing like BlackBerry & Bay imo. Everyone’s nose is different!

You're welcome! Remember, les heures passent is reminiscent of Ingenious Ginger by Goldfield & Banks but not an exact dupe. IG is sweeter like lemonade and LHP is softer.

OMG, i was thinking that splendid bronze smells like something I love and YES it’s a dupe of Alien. However it is missing some more Jasmin in it.
It is indeed a bit softer than OG Alien but appearantly it is more a dupe of an Alien Flanker: Alien Essence Absolue. Never tried it and got discontinued. But still very OG Alien like :)
Excuse me? Spirited romance is the most sophisticated parfum out of the new collection. No seriously! It’s a beauuutiful clean white floral scent that reminds me of pure poisson by Dior. However this one smells like RAW white florals.I also live in Belgium, I am coming for you 😜
Maybe I'm a little anosmic to it? 🤔 I also don't smell much in Pure Poison! I saw on fragrantica it got compared to J'adore but that one i totally can smell and absolutely love. I love white florals!
@@ScentCity it’s not a dupe for pure poisson of course but it reminded me of it. There are both elegant, clean and sensual. Spirited romance smelled like a bath full of freshly cut white florals. PP has more refined harmonious florals, less raw, making more sexy. By the way, are you based in Brussels?
The review i can relate too ❤❤❤ too each their own of course but my preference always soft/ floral tones since i gey easily overwhelmed with intense fragrances, my sensitivy make my judgment very accurte 😂😂

Right?? I’ve never understood why so many people say bergamont, even some of the really big fragrance youtubers 🤔 Not that it bothers me or anything, I just don’t understand where it’s coming from 😀
I guess it's because for many people whose mother tongue is English it is hard to adapt to the words that came from another language, especially a non-Germanic one. So they kinda adapt the words to their own speaking palette and apparatus. It does not bother me, per se, but it bothers me in a sense that they do not even make an effort to read the words consciously. It also annoys me sometimes when they just give up on pronouncing some words, as if it were an impossible task (no one expects them to pronounce the words like a native speaker, but to try at least to make it sound somewhat understandable), but that's a whole 'nother conversation. Anyway, wanted to add that I thoroughly enjoyed these reviews! Keep it up!@@ScentCity

They have a new one called nocturnal life. I ordered it together with this line because it says it is tonka and chocolate mixed with orange. Interesting.
I've tried it today at Zara as I was also curious about the chocolate note but sadly I couldn't smell it (at least not on my skin). It had a very hmm... 'perfume' vibe but in a slightly niche style. Then again, it was on my skin, maybe your skin will pick up the chocolate/orange notes

I smelled "Nocturnal Life" yesterday and I found it to be extremely similar to Zara's own "Rich, Warm, Addictive". It's nice, but I already have that one in my collection, so I passed on it.
I get mostly black pepper and grapefruit with Nobody Knows then it dries down a little softer. Pretty long lasting. It's discontinued now. I think there's maybe 2 on ebay.

I tried blanc a-porter at store yesterday and it is exactly like Unusual wood which was released by Zara last year.

Yesterday I bought les heures passent and you ate right there is something le labo or diptique about it. I'm going to hunt the notes and see if something rings a bells with my nose. I got someday sometimes and it is a fun fragrance. I'm not into that scratchy marshmallow in love don't be shy but my coworker loves it and I got a bottle of velvet shadow. I do like marshmallow like the one by kyse or latte bianco (smells like marshmallow to me...the fluffy creamy kind)

The only ones in the weekly mood collection that performed well on me were Monday and Thursday. This collection is definitely better performing overall! Someday sometimes is BEAST and True Amore, splendid Bronze and Les Heures Passent have great longevity aswel. Spirited romance is probably the softest/weakest of this line.

Loved the review. I purchased the Velvet Shadow when it first launched for $29.90 and now Zara has increased their prices to $35.90 Why Zara??? I do love the fragrance - very similar to love don’t be shy but increasing the prices after having it listed for $29.90 isn’t cool

Oh really? They did the same with the first 30ml bottles of chapter 5 and 6 (made a video on those aswell). I bought them for 10€ and a week later they were 13€ 🙁 But here these ones seem to have kept their price.. for now 😕

I really think nobody knows is a dupe for si intense the 2021 one. The notes are actually quite similar si intense has blackcurrant as its first note turkish rose and davana in the middle and benzoin with patchouli to the end, nobody knows has the same first note blackcurrant but it makes a little twist because in the middle you’ll find ebony, just that, and rose to the end, so the fragrance smells really similar but the development is a little bit different, you can say that the ebony in nobody knows encapsules the davana the benzoin and the patchouli since this notes are woody and sweet in general just like ebony.
I can say they are not exactly the same just because of the different notes, i feel like si intense reaches a point that is very sweet but delicate, oh and I forgot that nobody knows also claim to has black pepper on it so maybe that’s why I kinda feel it a little bit more like strong, but in a really similar aroma.

Hi All, Im from South Africa I tested on Someday Sometime and True Amour early today and its now late afternoon....Pheuw! I definately going to buy these. SS is woody and punches out everytime I move my wrist that I want to keep sniffing it❤
I think someday sometimes is the strongest of this collection! Although Les Heures passent, true amore and Splendid bronze also last a long time on my skin! 😀💕

I tested nearly all the frags mentioned (if not all) in ZARA last Monday, I found 2 interesting enough to give them a wear test (not particularly lasting!!!) the rest were ok but they didn't even remind me of the expensive original scents they are apparently inspired by. I think people have to stop forcing the unjustified comparisons to niche/luxury scents, they are nowhere near(!) only Chapter series in Zara resemble more expensive scents !

Which one of this collection do u think has the most typical Narcisso Rodriguez smell? Like powdery, woody, musky and floral
I guess I'd say Blanc-à-porter comes closest to that description. But don't forgot, it's a very subtle 'your skin but better' type of musky woody scent, so not very strong smelling.
Try Livre Blanc (men’s section but totally uni!) I reviewed this line aswel and that one reminded me of NR Pure Musc’s baby sister ☺️

Spirited Romance went on sale for $20 CAD / $15 USD and what's interesting is that I don't get those associations with makeup wipes and skin care because I'm a guy and our stuff doesn't smell like that haha. So its pleasant enough to me to keep! Definitely not worth full price though

How many hours do they last ?
Hard to say since there are so many and it was difficult to give them all a full wear. Someday sometimes was the strongest and i’d say true amore and les heures passent stayed pretty long as well. I think spirited romance would be the weakest. Other ones have moderate, decent performance in my experience so far ☺️

I got a ebony wood backup aswel, it’s a staple in my collection as it’s so unique and my husband loves it too! 😊 personally would not consider Bye Love as unisex, I find it quite feminine
