My Baby - Ribs & Blues 2017

MY BABY is al lang geen onbekende meer. De shows van de band eindigen doorgaans met een compleet verbaasd publiek. En uitgeput, want hoe hypnotiserend de snikhete moerasmonsterjams van dit Nederlands-Nieuw-Zeelandse trio ook zijn, er wordt in alle hoeken gedanst tot het licht aangaat. De band verovert in rap tempo de wereld met een psychedelische mix van blues, folk, gospel, rock, funk en triphop. Allemaal zonder elektronische poespas, maar alleen met gitaren, drums en kristalheldere vocals.
Twee jaar geleden stonden ze op de Delta Stage van Ribs & Blues , het dak ging eraf. My Baby is volwassen geworden en dan was de Mainstage de enige juiste plek!

Fantastische muziek, je wordt helemaal meegezogen in de sfeer. Respect voor de drummer en bassist die onvermoeibaar een gave baseline geven waarop gitaar en zang drijven. Knap gedaan, hoop hier graag nog heel veel meer van te horen!!
