trashmonster26 am I missing something? sarcasm? why is unbagged trash more appealing? entertaining vid to be sure, ya nailed it. also sry if I asked this before, but what's the ratio of asl alleys to rl ones in city limits?
Trashman242 unbagged trash falls to the sides of the hopper more easily, which makes things more efficient if you have a swamper (like this guy) who doesn’t push the carts to the side. The main reason I came to this route is because of the Zarns and EVRIIs. I have no idea about that ratio, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I lucked out living near these cool routes.
trashmonster26 just to voice my view of it, unbagged trash is the height of laziness. I can find a reason to excuse every other customer nuisance but loose trash makes litter. it goes all over your property and the properties of your poor neighbors who did take the effort to bag everything. it goes in the street and into the gutters, into the rivers and then into the ocean. like I said, just had to have a moment on the soapbox...it is as big of a deal as I'm making it though
Trashman242 don’t get me wrong, I bag everything. One glance down alleys like this one proves your point about using bags. Especially with an ASL or FL. But in this very specific configuration with the single tipper mounted in the center, the trash being in smaller pieces allows it to spread out to the sides more easily instead of piling up in the center of the hopper.
With the bins that aren't very full, would it not be faster to just dump/tip them manually than to use the tipper?
