l presently working on a home and a home and the viewing some of the turtles feeding in the water, it's so beautiful to see this for the first time in my 50 years living in Trinidad 😍
I'm a Trinidadian living in the US If I were to visit Trinidad again, I would love to visit Blanchisseuse. It's the kind of holiday that I would enjoy. Thank you for this video, and the bonus turtles. God Bless.
Thank you very much Pointboy12. I grew up in Blanchisseuse as a baby through my early teens. I went to live in the US as an older teen. I will never forget where I came from. I live in California now, but none of the beaches here can compare with the pristine beaches I grew up on in Trinidad. I really appreciate seeing this video. I did recognize the catholic church and the police station. I went to miss lynn`s preschool in upper village and primary school in lower village when the school was opposite the police station. They moved the school a few years late on a hill a few miles up the road. I am miss Dora Betancourt`s grandson. I dont know if you know her. She lived there all her life. I also recognize the Marianne bridge even though I was only up there to see it once.
Very nostalgic, as I spent most of my summer hols there. Even my mother's ashes were scattered at the beach after a memorial service at the RC church. So many nights were spent crab hunting near Marianne. We used to hike to Paria and full we belly with mango en route.
Hi 👋 I absolutely love your videos I love the little history you give us an how you explain things and even all the info you give keep up the incredible work of show casing our beautiful island 🏝
Hi yes I love your video. But you did not mention that ppl can hike to turtle rock or cathedral rock or paria waterfall. Or they can take a pirouge to paria waterfall. I have been camping on the beach for Easter at paria water fall and yes the leather back turtles they do come back to lay their eggs and it was such a wonderful thing to see like fifty at one time just coming on shore to lay their eggs just outside the tents. Oh my it was wonderful. Great video 🇹🇹❤️
I am very glad that you liked the video. In the clip that showed the bridge I mentioned about hiking to Paria. I plan to release another video later this year that shows beyond the bridge. I have shot some of the video but want to go back and take some additional imagery. However before that I am working on a video about Point Fortin which I will release in April and also some videos on the Toco area for April and May.
Great video what a beautiful village and the beaches looks so inviting and tranquil also love the background music...thanks for sharing stay safe cheers from Orlando.❤️❤️👍🏽
Beautiful work on this clip! 👏 👏👏👏 you take me back over thirty years when I was but a teen. We were a small group visiting the bay to witness leatherback turtles laying eggs.
Its so lovely, can you do a wee video on the beach houses what they look like inside, when i visit Trinidad in the near future would love to stay few nights, at a beach, you got a lovely for TV and commentating
Thank you for the compliment about my voice. Many of the beach houses in Blanchisseuse have web sites and they show the interior of the particular house.
Thank you pointboy12 for your mini feature here of Blanchisseuse and the extra feature. Does the beach you call Blanchisseuse Beach have any other name ?
At certain times of the year the water on these beaches is very calm and at other times there are higher waves. Unfortunately I cannot remember the specific times.
Hey what is the price on average for land near the sea in Blanchisseuse? and is there Digicel or any kind of land line fiber internet access up there? I am thinking of either retiring to live in Blanchisseuse or in Tobago somewhere close to the sea.
I am sorry I do not know the price of land but if you search online you will see some properties advertised for sale. For Internet in that area a fiber connection is better because trying to pull the internet off the towers is problematic.
@@pointboy12 I have never been to Blanchisseuse but you think the seaside is comparable to Tobago? typically I hate all the beaches I have been to in Trinidad none of them are anywhere near as good as Tobago in my opinion. I kinda hate I was born in Trinidad when I first went to Tobago on vacation and saw the huge difference, Tobago looks like another country almost first world, in Trinidad there is filth, trash endless trash and crime. People litter everywhere and there is so much open sewage running down our drains and rivers.
The islands of Trinidad and Jamaica are two completely separate countries. The distance between the two countries is 1,206 miles. This video is about a village in Trinidad and it is definitely not part of Jamaica.
@@kernj6454 The payment is to the man whose land you would have to drive through in order to get to the beach. You could go to the bridge and launch your jet ski from in the river for free. However you may have a problem if the river level is low at the mouth of the river.

It's not SAFE to go to Trinidad. Too much crime.
