- In this video you will learn to speak Spanish with confidence when ordering a hot, cold, or room temperature drink. You will also learn many practical Spanish phrases that you can use in scenarios that involve ordering a drink, getting food, or even when you are buying something at a store. More importantly, you will learn some of the most important soft skills in Spanish that will enable you to speak Spanish with more ease and confidence. This video will also help you understand the Spanish from all the people who are involved in the situation, whether the seller or the shopper. This is why I will help you identify what to say, what to answer, how to ask, and how to express what you want to say clearly in Spanish. In only seventeen minutes you will be ready to travel all over the Spanish speaking world and feel like Pedro around his house, and order the hot drink you want, the way you want it, with this situational Spanish class.

You're hilarious...and a great teacher.
Every time I tried to say the words back she was rambling how is that a good teacher
You should be a comedian as well :) Love your lessons!!!! Thank you, I really appreciate your work.
@@willnill7946 Well, I'm sure she didn't mean it that way. 😄
@@willnill7946 Woah woah what she said?
I agree!!!
@@willnill7946 why racist? I've been to Mexico and I have many Mexican friends that are not funny at all... :p Ana has a great sense of humor and I said that with lots of respect for her and her work. I would love to be so funny myself :) and teach and the same time!
@@agnieszkagacek4873 Yikes, but ignore the hate...that was just crazy, such an off response. But seriously: that you say, you have Mexican friends that are not funny... I am insulted.
You never cease to humor me, gracias

The most interesting language teacher! I'm learning French and Japanese as well through RUclips and you are, BY FAR, the most entertaining of anybody I've watched! I love the -ito suffixes you give too. I like saying "un momentito por favor" when restaurant workers greet me in Spanish haha
Thank you so much! I am a coffee lover so this helps a lot!

Excellent, Ana. Would you please do a lesson on shopping? Where is the fitting room? Do you have another size? A different color? It's too small,. Do you carry umbrellas? etc. Thank you!
I really like your interjections of additional comments in Spanish and not always English. Useful topic. Please do others of common situations.
Hahahaha!!!!! I love you! Please never stop putting out content! Such a wonderful teacher.
Muchas gracias Ana
Gracias mil veces. Jerry
Mil gracias a ti por ver los videos.
I subscribed to your newsletter 👍🏼
Excellent and entertaining video!
"...whatever the herb is." Most American English speakers would use the Spanish pronunciation for herb, i.e. "whatever the erb is...". British speakers would pronounce it "herb."
Gracias por tus buenos videos.
Thank you muchias Gracias ❤
Love your videos, I always get so much out of them. One of the things I usually say when I order coffee is: "con espacio para crema".
Hahaha. Your American accent is great. And did you say Starsucks? Haha. Great lesson as always. Thanks!
Lol, your so funny... I am going to have fun learning spanish... Gracias!

A mí también pero con poquita leche :)
@@ButterflySpanish ahhh veo 🤣🤣🤣
I'm most of the times using: Tengo un café solo (cafe black), café pequeño o café largo (small or large). For cream here in Galizia they use nata. But thanks for the examples, I try them next time.
Hola Ana! Muchas gracias🌹
I love you ana, I love your teaching,
Will you marry me
U r beautiful😍 thanks for such enjoyable lesson ❤️
Thanks!
Gracias por otro buen video, Ana. También me gusta tu acento cuando hablas inglés. :) Siempre estoy feliz cuando puedo ver otro de tus videos. Feliz fin de semana de Pascua. 😎
Easter, Pascua de Semana Santa is a religious celebration. It is a sad one, (God is diying) We don't say Happy Feliz in that case, if you're talking with a non religious person you can say "que pases una buena Pascua"
henhaooahneh I understand, thank you for the correction. It’s a difference between the Holy Week and Easter Sunday when God is risen.
You often make me laugh. a menudo me haces reir
Con canela,, yum yum
Your videos help my heart to keep pumping blood in my veins persistently.
So making my lifespan more..✌🙃
Hombre, qué exagerado :)
Thank u so much teacher
I've been thinkin to help u for what you've done for me.
I just don't know how to do that.
It seems you're learning English and Spanish at the same time. I could never do that. Learning one at a time is hard enough. Bravo!
Thanks dear
My favourite part? The OYYY at 1:06 😍
wow! you look so adorable when you speak! i may be going to start learning Spanish soon..😊😊
Pidiendo café...español esencial!
Thank you! This a good basic way to learn interactions. I want to asked you a question; How did you learn the English language so well? You speak so well in both languages. I am still struggling with spanish after so many years. I speak maybe 50 to 60% Spanish, SlowLY.
Well she speaks Spanish well because it's her first language. Her english isn't that perfect but its good enough to deliver her spanish lessons to english speakers. If you can speak or understand a second language to some degree, you're very admirable already. Keep up the good work
I learnt English in two years but I studied everyday, very hard, every day.
@@tramnguyen0000 Um.... for Spanish to be her first language she speaks pretty well. I can understand her %100, and of course she's not going to always say things perfectly, because let's be real we stumble from time to time even as native English speakers.
@@ButterflySpanish Your hard work is paying off
❤. Your lessons always encourage me to keep practicing.
@@tramnguyen0000 Her english is best than most native speakers!! You are seemed to be jealous. Her english and spanish is comprehensible. How is your ENGLISH??
Lovely maestro !
I love your videos!
I'm loving your Spanish lessons and so I hope you could address a subject that I do not understand as nobody ever explains it. My question is how to translate "to become" in Spanish. There isn't a single verb (infinitive) for "to become". Its clearly more involved than that. I'm sorry if this request doesn't marry up with the subject of the lesson "Learn how to order a coffee" above but your web site doesn't have a means of making requests. Thank you in advance and I look forward to your future content.
Hi there, to become means LLEGAR A SER, VOLVERSE or CONVERTIRSE for example Yo quiero llegar a ser un buen estudiante de Espanol. I want to become a good Spanish student. El quiere volverse rico para ayudar a los pobres. He wants to become rich to help the poor. I hope this help you👍🏻
Could you make an episode about Spanish tenses, and show us the tenses which are used in daily conversation and the written tenses.
Por favor..Por favor..Por favor..Por favor..Por favor
I love you ! You are beautiful and I can actually learn from your teaching style. Thank you !
Oh this is Great.....you are so good....relaxed and drinking your coffee having fun.
I will practice all week and go order coffee in my local restaurant next week........if I can get the nerve up that is. :)
Muster up... they'll be kind, good luck.
could you please make a video about placement of adjectves in spanish ?
I am learning thanks you I like
Thanks for your videos, they are fun, and you're adorable!
@@willnill7946 I am not racist, I am mexican too. Her personality is adorable...that's a compliment
Great lessons!!
¿Cómo sabes siempre lo que quiero aprender? JAJA MUY GUAY!
mi maestra, le gustaria ir tomar un cafe, saludos desde finlandia,, un fuerte fraternal abrazo,
Mind-blowing
Really love your videos!! Very helpful and funny 😂
¡hola! Muchas gracias butterflyspanish, i learned a loooo000ooot like for real from your beginning video (alphabets in spanish) muchas graciaaaas
I love how you teach and your personality-do you offer one on one classes or group classes on Patreon or any other media?
When you want your coffee "to go" or "for here". Is it " un cafe para llevar o para ir (para que ir?). And the same when you want it for here: "para aca o para aqui' or doesn't it matter. I'm sure they would get it either way but what's the best way to explain it? Thanks...your videos are a great help.
When you say in English: «I want a coffee to go» you will say in Spanish: «Quiero un café para llevar, por favor».
And if you want «a coffee for here», you will say in Spanish: «Quiero un café para tomar aquí».
If you say: «Quiero un café para tomar acá» they'll understand you but that way of speaking is pretty common in Colombia, for example.
I am a subscriber and love this video. Could you do another one about buying bus tickets?
You are such fun
Thanks for all the time you put in for us Anna.❣️❣️🐩 I really enjoy your videos because I can hear how it's really too be pronounced & used in context
Who else wanted a coffee while watching this? O, ¿Quién más quería un café mientras veía esto?
Like Lisa Germano's song says, "coffee in the morning and wine in the evening and everything else is boooring"
muy simpatica :-)
Estas muy bien
Vale!
I am a barista 😆 this helps me too!
