Great commentary! And yeah. I'm in agreement with them...who is this Justin dude? Killing it out there. Crazy good. Tough course. Thank u Jomez!
He got on Team MVP this year. Good to see my team mates doing well on big tournaments like this :)
- Florian Lingenhel
I love it when a local shows the pros how its done
local route eyyyy
Man those sponsorship signs shouldn't be interfering with the course, great commentary love the humor!
Nate and Jerm do it again! Great commentary on one of my favourite tourneys of the year. LOVE seeing some Gyro on the card too! Congrats Justin!
Great commentary! Nate Perkins was fantastic. Very natural, entertaining, and informative commentary. I could listen to these guys all day. Please bring Nate back more often!
I totally agree!
I like these courses where their actually challenging. A lot of the time I watch players complain about how a hole isn’t birdieable sometimes a par is great. Your drive really matters on this course
How lucky to experience such an episode.
Thank you so much JoMezPro for coming to the Fort. My favorite course! I wanted to grab my discs and throw so bad after following this Card. Learned some new lines =D
I did an analysis and based on empirical data confirmed that putter flutter is indeed directly proportional to player frustration!
With a heavier putter and a little fluctuation it actually helps keep it on your line
This channel is doing great work for this sport!
Great job Jomez as always. Justin great throwing and an aerospace engineer. Superman
Wow, hats off to Justin for keeping it interesting, I thought Ricky had pulled ahead by enough to make it a race for 2nd after the first round! But man after a little bit of a rough start Justin put together a great round (even with the not so great upshot on #18) and had Ricky on his toes the whole round!
Im a Ricky fan, but man I was almost starting to go for Justin there for a sec haha, I just always have to pull for the underdog!
LETS GO RICKY!!! And JUSTIN!
Great coverage, great round, and great commentary!!! But thats pretty much expected when you see JOMEZ PRO beside a thumbnail!!!
Thanks y'all!!!
19:38 That!
"It wasn't like a fist pump, it was like his arm was just there" -Jerm about Bilodeau 😄
Jerm said that
Love watching Chanimal! Great job Jomez crew
Great commentary and such a tense round. R3 will be great!
This is gonna be a great course for Worlds in 2020. I hope they reconsider the positioning of the ad signs by then, though! Lol
JomezPro....thank you for such amazing coverage!
Ricky's going to go buy Lucky Disc Golf just so he can't throw all those signs away. 🤣
Another great video from Jomez. Great coverage on a less than average course. Major work needs to be done to this course if it's going to be the Pro Worlds course in 2020. "Through the grouping of trees" shouldn't ever be a route. Takes all skill out of the game.
Agreed, I'm shocked after watching that round, how did they choose this course?
There are lines on every hole (even 6 and 15) but it is super punishing if you miss the line by even a little. It's definitely a different skill set than pros are use to displaying on a weekly basis.
There was also major difficulty in preparing for this tournament due to major and unusual flooding. Hole 4 & 5 are tough signature wooded holes that weren't even playable due to water from the flooding still clogging the tees and fairways. Holes will be cleaned up appropriately and the course will look beautiful by Worlds. My only concern for Worlds is I have no idea how this course could handle a significant amount of spectators. That will probably be the biggest challenge for the tournament staff next year.
Not really a fan of having those Lucky Disc Golf Signs on the greens. Great commentary as always guys!
Go Justin! Keep the focus.
Loving this course being in play this year! Looks like a really fun course!
SERIOUSLY looking forward to how this course is going to look cleaned up for worlds soon!!
Great stuff all around! Thank you ! After you watch the Utah open if anybody wants more great disc golf to watch don't forget to watch the challenge at Goat Hill Atier . Beast of a course with some great players. AJ Risley, Seppo, Kevin Jones, T. Gilbert, Sias Elmore, Eric Oakley to name a few. Its on the other good channel.
Good job!
What an AMAZING course!! It's officially made my bucket list! Loving Nate's commentary. Had me chuckling the whole time. Together with Big Jerm they make a great pair. Great work all around (as usual) with the Jomez coverage.
Lucky disc golf huh? Whoever put those signs up is a master sign placement person
Most majestic beard ever to grace the sport! Thank you as always to Jomez for the amazing coverage!
Those views are effen beautiful!
Gotta love Jerminate commentary. Thanks for the endless entertainment
Great commentary and coverage, thanks!
No follow flight on Alex's 16 tee shot?? :D
Great play Justin!
- Flo from the team

They can't fly at such altitude...that's probably why BIG Jerm didn't notice them. It's just science.
Awesome coverage!
I have a new found fear of the word lucky haha. Great golf and awesome commentary. Thanks Jomez
Great work as usual!!
Some great putting all around
C’mon people. Show your support and love for Jomez and become a patreon. Help build this beautiful sport we all love.
great commentary....on hole 15 did I hear you call Ricky "the world champion".......if I heard right, don't let Greg Barsby know. lol
Certainly a mistake on my part.
@@perksofdiscgolf5731mistake is such a harsh word, how about just a lot of good fun. Much enjoyed
Stoked for final round
This course looks awesome.
Justin man! You were 4 back from Ricky to start. Nice round man.... wow
There are a few very nice holes here. But there is one thing that really buggs me, the river. In a time and age where plastic in the oceans are a growing problem it stings to see those discs add to that problem. I don't really mind with the normal ponds where discs are fished out every now and then but here they are lost.
Fun to see a new course... Tricky and beautiful. Thanks to an off-day by The Rickster its getting pretty exciting ...and the Final round is already waiting for me (Wuhuuuu!) Thanks JomezPro.
Ricky's drive looks like an approach shot.
Jomez, Love your work. Is there any chance we can get a little yellow dot or something on who is currently throwing on the bottom score card. I typically watch the tournaments while working and when I glance back I sometime's don't know who the locals are. Thanks for all your hard work!
JB tearing it up. Represent for the Gyro fans bro!
interesting looking course. seems like it needs a lot of work before it becomes worlds caliber (so many random trees, so many tweener holes) i'm sure theyre working on it and look forward to see how it develops
Love the beaver commentary.
Where's all the top guys? Eagle Paul Simon.......?
Heck yea jomez
Nate thought it was beavers, but I think all that low tree damage was done by flood debris damaging the tree trunks and ripping off bark. Not the best place for a DGC, I think. Next time it floods it'll wreck the course. :(
I think Justin's approach on 14 was an entropy
@jomezpro please tell me you are covering King of the Hill in Alaska this season.
Thanks Jomez!
Wysocki looks so much better with his cap backwards!
Go Rick!"!
Can we get a compilation of Ricky failing to pick up/dropping minis/discs?
Great job Nate, ain't JoMez fun?
The best!!
Great coverage, again, "Isn't it ironic, don't you think" - Lucky Disc Golf :D
Wooooo Chandler!!!
JermiNate or JermiNation is blossoming!
I was lucky enough to get a forehand Park job on 15 on Friday in am, it's a crazy hole!
Seems too much like a poke and hope course. Great coverage as always though and love the commentary!
Keller2112 and that’s where worlds is going to be in 2020. Hate the course
@@bossroberts3037 Well, maybe it will get cleaned up a bit by then.
It's not poke and hope....every hole has lines...they just haven't learned them yet...
Justin Is Fitzmagic
Great vid.
does anyone know what that bag on Ricky's pole is? I would love to get that for my cart.
Unlucky Ricky 2014? I don't remember what happened, what's the reference?
Yey my night shift is saved!!!
So THIS is one of the courses for worlds next year!? ...
Awesome card today 👍!
What a great card! Amazing ‘BigSexy’ commentary as usual. I really like the looks of this course too!
Dude, poor Rick might hate that sign for life XD maybe next year take it down for him? Or move it out of play lol
What IS this course?
J.B.!!!!!
This isn’t a bad course, but I’m confused why it was chosen for pro Worlds next year. Many of the holes are not designed well, or are very bad for filming. While some are very beautiful, others aren’t. Maybe it just needs to be cleaned up more, but I can’t see this course being good enough for anything higher than a big A tier without a redesign.
Listen to it closely at 22:11 and there is this creepy voice in the background saying "do it for the win" or "do it in the wind" or something. Anybody else have an idea what that ghost said?
I don’t think Lucky Disc Golf is getting the reputation/advertisement they want, or are they?
Or JermiNate'n!
Jerminate or Big N Perky?
"slithered... c'mon"
Lucky Disc Golf's stock just dropped.
Bilodeau = disc golf viking.
Kind of sad to not see them play the golf course multiple times this year. It's such a pretty course.
Freedom units should be changed to reason units completely.
thank you jomez it was fun but we missed big sexy commentary
Anyone else rooting for Alex the whole round?
Dont fabricate based on script. evaluate and enhance the game. I see this happen VERY occasionally but if you overlay the commentary after the fact (not live commentary) just at least pretend to be surprised. 60k of us are...#coachyourteamJOMEZ
I love you Jomez! just a simple thought from a nobody viewer
Can I get a nononoyesmez on Alex's putt on 16?
Natigated lol
4th comment
Really awful looking course with the exception of hole 16. Can't believe 2020 world's are gonna be played here
This spring was cold and wet...the trees were bare of leaves 10 days ago...so it isn't very green yet...but come June that place will look lush and green...also, the course just opened a year ago so be patient...it will look good next June
Jomez coverage = awesome
Commentary = great
Course = meh
Needs a lot of work. Too much throw and pray it goes through.
i said it quietly to myself - don't like this course . . .
doesn't seem like it showcases the skills we're used to seeing and celebrating. super tough; there's just so much in the way everywhere. maybe it's good though, for diversity of challenges - i wonder what the visiting players think
Crazy. I'll take a course like this every day over the run of the mill ball golf course layouts.
It takes a different set of skills than we're use to seeing on the big open courses. It's almost all about control and placement instead of big open flights. I also really like that there's a challenge of trees inside the circle - again requires placement control and creativity in putting. The signs weren't great and should probably be moved a little. There is some luck that comes into play in courses like this, but only when players miss the line.
Worlds is going to be on this course ? Awful . Course needs work
It's a brand new course, so yeah it needs a little work. But when's the last time you saw Ricky get 2 double bogeys in a round? It's a sweet course.
Difficulty does not always translate into a good hole/course
@@toddglennbarrow One of the best players getting two double bogies doesn't make some course sweet, just means it doesn't have consistent lines to the basket.
@@zachg764 , so you watch one video and now you know the course and you make the judgement of "no consistent lines"...wow..you must have super powers...so...do the "lines" move around and that's why they are not consistent.
The lines are there, they just haven't figured them all out yet
Ricky "Socki bomb" Wysocki? I get it, he throws bombs, but this ain't a Japanese restaurant. How about Ricky "The Business Man" Wysocki....I mean, just look at him do business.
It's to the point now where we're going to have to push the PDGA to ban the camera crews from circle one and circle two. The danger of interfering with play and the outcome of a tournament has clearly become secondary to capturing a " Slowmez ". And I guess someone from the PDGA will have to hold their hands out in the fairway like children and tell them they're standing and recording in the absolute most high risk spot imaginable to get hit by a disc. Situation is in dire need of some regulation...
The filming of these tournaments is necessary for the growth of the sport and Jomez as a business needs to make sure their cameras are in the best spot to capture the footage. Also they spend entire days walking each course and mapping out where to stand to both capture the footage and minimize possible interference from the camera men. This was also their first round filming this course so I'm sure they will watch the film and learn from any mistakes they may have made.
@@garrettcolwell6016 I totally get your point and thanks for the reply. My post on the subject didn't go without consideration and knowledge. Any historical review of disc golf coverage, especially that of JomezPro, will clearly reveal an evolution of disregard towards jeopardizing the natural outcome of a players shot and putt.
With absolutely no disrespect towards you, your observation, and this comment...
" Also they spend entire days walking each course and mapping out where to stand to both capture the footage and minimize possible interference from the camera men. "
But this is simply incorrect and provably so, as we're now witnessing film crews literally, for example, standing inside circle one during a players approach shot behind the basket, directly between the players intended shot path, the basket, and an OB ( again, for example ). This " evolution " is simply not showing a more precautionary approach and regard, but quite the opposite, it shows an increasingly wild and irresponsible disregard towards potential interference.
Simply put, the prospect of capturing some of the magic the current field of Pro's can deliver has, quite frankly, overcome their reasoning and good judgement.
Your statement that good coverage is essential for the sport is impossible to argue and I couldn't agree more. A balance of quality, thoughtful, noninvasive, and responsible coverage must, and can, be reached. The film crews have lost sight of this, so we're reaching out to the PDGA to submit protocol.
