Macro Photography - Another world.
I think the best way to describe my love of Macro photography would be that it allows me to get lost in a myriad of worlds, seemingly hidden around everyone. It's a place where eight legged creepy crawlers become more than just a creepy hairy thing. Getting down to their level makes me marvel at the intricate movements and interest they take with their surroundings. Blending in with their prey, as with the Ant Mimic Jumping Spider, or just being a true wall crawler and hunting down pesky (and also strangely beautiful) flies, and other insects.
It's a strangely familiar big tiny world. And hopefully my photos can give you a glimpse into this realm.
