1) Joe Hamilton, 2) Shawn Jones, 3) Billy Lothridge...4) Everyone Else. I mean, seriously, how do you leave of a national title QB (Jones) from this list?
Terrible having Godsey that high played onlt two years Shaun Jones #2 Godsey started only two years couldn't beat out #1 QB. Godsey #5 Lothridge #4 who did this list? QB od the 51-52 year teams would be #6 won a natty in 52. Best era of Tech football from 51-56
Are you crazy?! Best QB Paul Johnson has in his coaching career period. Smoov is great but hasn't put up no where near the numbers Nesbitt did. If Nesbitt didn't break his arm he could've got 3,000 rush yards Smoov won't come close that. Smoov can read the option better but when it comes down to it Nesbitt was bigger and stronger and I'd be comfortable with him Sneaking it in on 4th and short without having to bring in Byerly like we do with Thomas. Nesbitt won us a conference title and took a beating and beat UGA in 08' for the first time in 7 years im sorry man Nesbitt is one of the greatest.
Nesbit couldn't throw to save his life and he had Dwyer, Burnett, Morgan, and thomas to carry him to winning the acc championship. JT had well... ummmmmmm
SMH.....Left out the 1990 National Championship QB.....Shawn Jones.
MrGatechfan99 I agree how did they miss him SMH

Chris Boggs exactly
That's great picks. Don't forget the QB from 51-52 team, techs best era of football 51-56ost I think only nine games in five years
Shawn Jones won a Natty. I love Nesbitt, Hamilton, and Smoov, but winning a Natty matters. I was in school for that magical season.
We’ve had so many great QB’s at GT
So bullshit that Joe Hamilton wasn’t the heisman
It's Billy "LAHthridge," not "LOWthridge".
No Sean Jones? You can't be serious.
If Justin Thomas beats Georgia again and Tech wins another big bowl game Thomas could surely get into that list
umm Shawn Jones. Seriously guys really?
Justin Thomas should be in there. He’s fast as lightening
the word is lightning....
Shawn Jones should be on this list. Helped his team winn the 1990 National Championship! Come on, man.
How is Sean Jones not on this list?
whaaaaaat no Reggie Ball?? Calvin Johnson was 6'5 with a 44inch vert.....and Reggie Ball still manged to overthrow him
Kevin Robinson He couldn't beat georgia once in 4 years even with calvin
I don't see how Godsey is in the top 5.
What about mike Kelley??
Kim King should be on the list.
He's my number #6
Shawn jones over nesbitt
I was at that game
Donnie Davis best qb hands down
Kim King should have been on that list.
The lady doesn't know who Billy Lothridge was because she kept mispronouncing his name
Do Notre dame
How do you leave Shawn Jones off of this list?
Terrible having Godsey that high played onlt two years Shaun Jones #2 Godsey started only two years couldn't beat out #1 QB. Godsey #5 Lothridge #4 who did this list? QB od the 51-52 year teams would be #6 won a natty in 52. Best era of Tech football from 51-56
#1 on my list is Josh Nesbitt, if he would’ve stayed healthy he would’ve took us so far that year
Even before I read any comments, I said how is Sean Jones not on this list?
He won a championship, sure. But he was a pretty average qb
Do clemson
nest
BULLSHIT, Shawn Jones should be #1 He is the ONLY GT QB on this list with a ring.
1Joe Hamilton
Josh Nesbitt was 1 of the worse Joe Hamilton and Shawn Jones 1 and 2 take ur pick
Nesbit shouldn't have on the list or atleast behind JT
Are you crazy?! Best QB Paul Johnson has in his coaching career period. Smoov is great but hasn't put up no where near the numbers Nesbitt did. One could argue that Tracey Ham is the best QB Johnson has ever had running his offense.
Nesbit couldn't throw to save his life and he had Dwyer, Burnett, Morgan, and thomas to carry him to winning the acc championship. JT had well... ummmmmmm
Justin Thomas needs to be on this list
justin thomas #1
1. Joe Hamilton
2. Justin Thomas
3. Shawn Jones
4. Josh Nesbitt
5. Billy Lothridge
6. George Godsey
7. Eddie McAshan
# 1 Shawn Jones
#2 Joe Hamilton
# Josh Nesbit
# George Godsey
Justin Thomas was the most exciting player but not a top-five QB in Georgia Tech
