Thank you for demonstrating the test for the bolt guide oring. I just recently bought the m170r, my third gamma core marker and its the first I've heard of this test. What I find odd is that after watching this video I did the test on the m170r, less than a case of paint through it, and that oring was no good. Pretty much right out of the box it needed changing.
@@kadobang1547 you'll need to start changing some O-rings. Could be a poor fit or just dried out from factory. Could be the can, bolt, spool guide or spool. Your manual will have a section on trouble shooting. Read it and familiarize yourself well with your new marker. You will save a lot of time, money and frustration by being knowledgeable enough to service your own marker.

Does this also apply to etha 3?
you don't have to grease the o-ring at the tip of the bolt?
It will get lubed by the outer part of the bolt
