    After so many years, i am still very moved when listening (over and over again) to Roman playing this concerto. Its just so honest and the very slight rubati make it sound so deep, as well as the perfectly controlled dynamics. The clarity of the phrasing, the very sparse use of pedal, just pure Roman :)

    ....and part of this virtuoso's success will also obviously include working with great conductors and great orchestras of the world! This is just all part of the experience.
