Bosch Maxx WFO 2480 Waschmaschine - Cottons intensive/Stains 60°C/140°F

Wer erinnert sich noch an diese Bosch? Vor Jahren gab es schon mal ein Video von ihr - jetzt kam ich nochmal dazu, alle Programme zu filmen. Sprich es werden noch Koch/Bunt 30°C, Pflegeleicht 60°C, Fein/Seide 30°C und Wolle 30°C von ihr kommen. Bevor ich sie jedoch filmen konnte, musste ich sie wieder zwei Mal reinigen, ihr Besitzer hält nach wie vor 30°C für alles als optimale Temperatur.
Diese Bosch stammt aus dem Jahre 2006, genau genommen wurde sie im Juli 2006 gebaut. Das monatsgenaue Baujahr eures BSH Gerätes kann am Fertigungsdatum, kurz FD auf dem Typenschild, abgelesen werden. Die erste Zahl muss mann nur immer plus zwei nehmen. Bei ihr steht 8607 als Fertigungsdatum - das bedeutet eigentlich: 0607: 2006 im Juli. Eine Siemens Waschmaschine mit der Aufschrift 7609 stammt somit aus September 1996.
Was ich damit sagen will: Dieses Modell hier hat bereits 16 Jahre auf dem Buckel. Läuft aber immernoch wie geschmiert. Ich bin von der Maschine sehr angetan, nicht zuletzt aufgrund der doch recht entspannten Unwuchtkontrolle. Auch der klassische BSH-Motorsound ist einfach immer und überall herauszuhören. Da bin ich schon ein kleiner Fan von.
Kritikpunkte sind allerdings: der Spülwasserstand, die Tatsache, dass ausgerechnet im Intensiv-Programm nur zwei Mal gespült wird und die Tatsache, dass sie bei 60°C wie Miele Waschmaschinen aus dieser Zeit nur bis 50°C heizt. Wäre für mich okay, wenn sie das im normalen 60°C Programm tun würde aber nicht im Intensiv-Programm. Egal. Das war halt damals der Trick um auf die Energieeffizienzklasse A zu kommen.

Who remembers this Bosch washing machine? It's years ago that I uploaded a boil wash from this washer. This time I could record everything else, meaning that Easy-Care 60°C/140°F, Delicates/Silks 30°C/86°F, Woolens 30°C/86°F and Cottons 30°C/86°F are coming up soon.
Before I could wash with it, I had to clean the washer intensely: two times! The owner still thinks that 30°C/86°F for everything is still the best temperature.
This washer is from 2006. To be precise: July 2006. You can check the building date from your BSH washer on the type plate: I am not sure if it says FD (in German: Fertigungsdatum - building date) on e.g. British washers too but you'll definitely find a 4 digit number which says for example: 7609. If you now want to know when it was build, add two to the first number and you'll get here: 9609 - meaning the washer was build in September 1996.
The type plate from this washer here says: 8607 - which means that this washer was build in July 2006. It is 16 years old now and it is still running great. I really like this washer, especially because of the relaxed balance control and the sound of the engine. I am a huge fan of BSH engine sounds (the one with carbon brushes), the sound will stand out immediately and you'll recognize it everywhere.
But I have to criticize the water level during rinsing, the fact that it rinses only two times on this cycle, even though it is the Intensive cycle, and the fact that it stops heating at 50°C/122°F. Just like Miele washers did this on washers build around these years - that is how they got energy efficiency class A. I would not care about if it would do this on the regular Cottons 60 cycle, but on the "Intensive/Stain" cycle which is also called the "Eco-Boilwash" in the manual, it should heat to 60°C/140°F.
