Awesome tutorial! Thank you! You made it look easy and it happens to BE easy after watching. Is there any chance your brushes might be on sale for the holidays? A Black Friday sale or the like? I hope you and the kiddos feel better soon.
I'm so glad you found it helpful! I am doing a sale! you can use the code 'IMCOOL' to get 25% off! Appreciate you watching and taking some time to leave a comment.
oh man that's tough! I think I would choose either Shady Details or Down & Dirty. They're both versatile and both come with a lot of brushes (30 for Down & Dirty, 20 for Shady details) My other brushes are great but for more 'direct' work or a look you're going for. Shady and Down & Dirty can be used anywhere. Thanks for your interest! use 'FREE15' at checkout to save some cash!
@@colemyst Thank you so much! Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help. Enjoy them! You can change them to any colour and bring down the strength by adjusting your opacity and flow on your brush.
hi i just went to your website to buy the brushes you used in this design. Which one is it on your webpage. Is it the shady details or the down and dirt? Is the down and dirty a grunge style brush set? thanks
Hey! I used 'Shady Details' in this video. Down and Dirty has some brushes with a similar effect but not has 'fine' (the grit will be bigger on down and dirty) Thank you so much for your interest!
Good question, I haven't found anything yet for that effect. You can add photoshop plugins to Affinity, but I'm not sure if the success rate. I'm hopeful for some cool effects coming soon.
@ I did find one video and tried doing a macro for it, but I noticed that you cannot use all the tools while recording. But, if it is of any help, the video suggests going in to the tone mapping persona, then after that, doing layer, new live filter layer, noise, de noise. Then, layer, new live filter layer, sharp, unsharp mask. I’ve tried this, but cannot get anywhere with it 🙁. As for PS, too cheap to pay for it lol.
Is that tab you clicked on to search for photos a new feature? I recently upgraded to Affinity 2, and I dont see it.. or maybe I haven't found it yet..
Amazing tutorial. Thank's for sharing this professional technique.

I have tried, but have been unsuccessful…but do you happen to know how to do a painterly effect like in PS?
