    Sounds like an entire brigade of chefs is preparing a three-course meal in the background.

      Ah that's crazy... cause you sound like a 8-dicked circle jerk of clowns in a Volkswagen beetle.

    Even if Yorrus is a pain of his neighbor, usually you, he makes the games exponentially more entertaining!

    "If I had reason to believe there was a natural wonder nearby..."
    What kind of clues would you find to suggest that within the first few turns before you place?

      TheRealDeadRock rivers leading into lake victoria look different than normal ones

      Oh, neat. I didn't know that. Is that the only one that can be identified before it's actually discovered, or are there others as well?
      Also thanks for the tip.

      TheRealDeadRock I think thats the only one. The rivers get wider. Also getting maps from ruins kinda counts.

    I mean if you see flat desert with Spain before you settle, you don't take your warrior south to the tundra and ocean. You settle, queue up a Scout and take your warrior through the city to scout the flat desert area for Sinai and ease of moving through flat land, or in this case Silver Tile before settle. Actually this initial warrior search method is probably standard play for just about every civ besides Spain.

      Late to the party but that's a really good tip: the way that faith CSs seem to have a desert bias could make that a good scouting priority for any Civ.

    Is it possible to lose a city to barbarians? If so do they just raze it?

    • @FilthyRobot
      @FilthyRobot  9 лет назад +12

      No, they take gold and supposedly buildings or pop, but they can't raze it.

    how does he know who's coastal?

    • @RasmusSand
      @RasmusSand 9 лет назад +23

      When he settles a new city the score goes from 4, settler and warrior, to 23 which is the score for a costal city cap. In MP games its vital to evaluate if you should go coastal or not. Depending on how many others are. If England for an example is in the game coastal is a pretty risky start. Ship of the line is a real threat, therefore it would be logical to reduce the angles of attack the enemy can take.
      I apologize for the terrible explanation and english. I hope my explanation is of use to you.

      RasmusSand Remember, a score less than 25 on settling can also be lake as well as coast. But yep, great explanation!
