    Similar to mine, I also have a Power bank to recharge the phone and torches, also a plastic water storage bag and some purification tablets and a outdoor Swiss knife. :)

      I remember those Tablets well Yuck. A knife is important and I forgot to mention that so thanks for your reply.

      sort it out 1 step at a time. 1: Your Bag. 2: Your Important Documents. 3: Spare Set of Clothes. 4: Shelter (Plastic Sheet) 5: Food and Water ect.

    Among loads of useless crap, youtube recommend something nice once in a while. Nice!
    As for the sewing kit, last week was the first time I left it out of my travel bag and it was the first time I needed it after maybe 12-13 years. Had to go and buy one to fix a hole in a pocket of a new jacket that I failed to find when I tried it on in the store.
    Pretty sure that dried food will be good to eat way beyond 2029. It might lose some taste, though I doubt it.
