I can't believe that Anna lied to Robin's face. I mean it's not a complete lie exactly but it is still a huge thing to say to your daughter when she asks you direct question!!
@@jetsetter311 Anna lied about Robin having a brother. Robin said that Matt was her child's only uncle and then jokingly said to Anna "unless there's something you're not telling me" and Anna said Robin was her only living child. It's not a complete lie because her child could be dead(given that she has no idea what happened after the baby was given up) but she knows there's another potential uncle for the baby and lied to Robin's face about it.

Sure it sucked but it had nuance. It wasn't just Patrick decided to cheat one day because he stopped loving Robin. It was Patrick was being dared and provoked relentlessly by an obsessed woman and Robin chose that moment to bury her head in the sand and leave town for a month, even though she knew deep down that things had been shaky between her and Patrick. It was Patrick feeling resentful, feeling sorry for himself and giving into his worst impulses. It was Patrick instantly regretting his stupid choice and realizing in horror that he couldn't ignore it or put the toothpaste back in the tube. It was Patrick confessing his mistake to Robin and months of trying to atone for it, willing to do anything for her forgiveness and for another chance. It's a soap. That was soapy. No one watches soaps expecting to see a perfect marriage. Also Patrick never abandoned any kid of his life Noah did.
