I really hope they don't add a meter mechanic like what the other fighters have because it's getting stale. VF5US feels much different compared to current fighters which feels little more fresh. I played too many fighters and I want something more mechanically different.

Its a pity that here in Russia we have pretty solid Tekken community, but not Virtua fighter, many doesn't head of it actually 🙄 it a shame ) now I'm playing Tekken 8, my first Tekken since 3, but I am mentally preparing for the new vf game, high hopes on this. When I compare side by side Tekken and VF I would prefer VF, for many reasons. I'm anxiously awaiting any real VF news. I'm hoping for addition on both English and Japanese dub for all characters or at least subtitles, there's a video of fan dubbing the non English speaking characters in English. It sounds decent. I think Sarah's VA should provide her Japanese dub since she's fluent in Japanese. I would love more interactive stages, they don't have to be just shaped in one whole shape,. For story, I think there should be some inspiration from the VF anime from the 90's, including certain characters like Eva Durex, maybe cameos from other characters like Sarah's pet squirrel but can just be a stuffed animal from childhood, her cat and Akira's dog and girlfriend from vf2 anime music videos.
Ground break graphics, Same gameplay, 4 new characters, Continuous support and updates for 4-5 years. VF doesn't need flash. The gameplay is top notch and the animation holds up from a decade ago. It does need a modern touch of coolness. I like that about Tekken. They keep their characters modern. VF characters need to abandon the cheesiness.
I wish more for a new Fighter megamix more, if they use the virtua fighter IP, many stubborn old vf players will refuse even any tiny changes. They even hate even some subtle VFX and Sfx.
As someone who's been wanting to get into VF for a while now and has come to respect it so much, I'd love a new VF game to jump into the series with. It'd be a day 1 buy for me.

So, i've been hearing of this new VF leak and so on. I'm more curious of how Dural will played out. She was a NPC in US and with some nerfed adjustment, she'll be playable again. Probably a upgraded design with less nude and more robotic something like a T-1000 thing. Maybe a mode where you can add moves from other fighters like Ace from Street Fighter EX3 or Baki in Grappler Baki the game or Fighting Fury in the EU it was called.

Bamco is milking out a ton of cash with Tekken 8 while shutting down content creators & modders. So Tekken doesn't have a real direct competitor. Bringing VF back will finally challenge Tekken.
