I would love to see a whole tournament with high speed tracks like this, it would be a good change of dynamics for competitive drifting
Agree 100%. I've really lost interest in Formula D because of the tracks. D1 is top dog IMO. The battles aren't as good, but speed is part of the judging and they use parts of real tracks.
I feel like rds has mostly really fast tracks, but i agree with you that FD tracks feel bland compared to other series

I love the use of the camera drones. Getting some nice dynamic shots there.
That S13 is/was GORGEOUS as well.

really love Taylor's RPS13, competing in style with that sunroof open! wouldve been a nice save by the driver that got hit but luckily everyone was safe

I love puke.. Good to see drifters concentrating on speed, angle, style before smoke. Smoke is unecessary, they use to concentrate on it way too much a few years back. It's good that mad mike is gone. Follow the Japanese they know whatsup!
yeah smoke has been a hot debate last couple seasons - unsure about Mad Mike though, true showman and a talent!

When drone pilots are more focused on showing off than recording, still better than what I can do. But would love to have the thing they're recording in center screen.

I wish these we real races and by real races i mean the better and fastest driver to cross the line wins type of race but with drifting on so ghost of akina type shit but from what i heard drifting competitions are based on points idrk
Yes, drift competitions are points-based, it's a judged sport.

I can appreciate the sketchiness of this but, most of these were not battles. More like if you just completed the track you move on. Not really any tandems at all

At this track its all about the least amount of mistakes, but drifting is like that anyway. The grip level, speed, and bumps make it pretty challenging

Looks so stupid and ugly. 1000hp+ drift is awful, most of drivers can't even stable control their cars. 300-500hp close drift looks much better and more beautiful than that.
