- The adventure goes on! Now it's time for the penultimate race of the sand #marblerally season 7! In this #marblerace , 20 marbles will compete over 10 races to be the fastest on sand! This video (and all videos of MRS7) will also contain a race of the B-league.
NOTE:
We decided not to use music for the remainder of MRS7, after complaints of the previous race. No worries, in M1S5 there will be new music.

thats what makes him such a great marble. even when he is in weaker form, his genius is still palpable in such moments.

RN3 just doesn't quite have the technology this season but when he's in good form there's still no one more exciting to watch. Still the GOAT.
RN3 is getting older and definitely in then second if their career. It’s impressive they’re still this competitive!
Yep, the controlled risk taking was elite. Disappointed he missed the podium. But getting where he was from such a wide spot on the grid is a credit to him.

Blue Moon is basically the Pinkies of the Marble Rally.
Can someone please please have Wisp of Darkness do a training session with their smaller brethren in the Marble League and show the Midnight Wisps how to do what they did in this race? Those moves over the wall and in the catch basin were epic!
Seeing WoD go up the positions as they did was just fantastic. The start was worrisome, but it seems they were getting up to pace on those course conditions before letting rip. Very excited for the final race!
As a Pollo Loco fan, I am HYPED for my marble actually having a chance at the title next race.
He’s been Mr. Consistency for so long, but this might be his opportunity at glory.
Going from last position to 2nd place to DNF, to then return to last place, while the biggest rival gets 1st place... terrible day.
That second race was chaos incarnate. My goodness.

There's something nice about Superball, RN3 and ghost plasma being next to each other in the standings. Also real dynamic race for RN3 starting well falling back and recovering.
Basically a year off for Ghost plasma.... I hope he will come back to his prime next year.
Much as I love the racing, I want to say that I really appreciate the "crowds" and the set-up for them. Picnic table and chairs, grandstands... It's little things like this which make it easier to get caught up in the whole marble world and have you really rooting for a favourite! Bravo!

That was Red 3 before everybody got jealous & kicked the real red 3 out. Now he's just mid pack. Hope Blue Moon doesn't have the same fate.

The racer currently in 4th place in the B-League standings can end up finishing the season in 11th place.
5:55 those moves by lollipop were absurd!
He went from next to last place to sixth in that short time!! Also that's two races he hit the jump to perfection!!

I've never seen RN3 fight so hard in my life. First position down to 15th, back up to 3rd with some crazy risky plays. Shoutout to Amethyst for taking that same over the wall route, and to Wisp of Darkness for an insane jump halfway through the race into the top 2.
Aw geez Cobra, that was... that was just painful. *Right* at the end... Well, you've got one more race, still a chance to get on the podium at least once, you can do this!
Not possible. Cobra is in the B league. The B league podium marbles are set, but the placement is up for grabs.

The old RN3 is still in there.
After falling to 15th from first, he easily climbed his way back up to the top 5, jumping over a wall and losing little to nine time in the process. His second 4th of the season.
Not what I wanted from some of my other favorites tho…
Nice recovery RN3.
RN3 has been getting stronger with every run and I was sure he had a podium finish but right there at the end he ran out of some gas. Every run he's finishing higher lately.
Go Red Number 3.
It looks like RN3 energy has been getting fast on slopes with his uniform that can be brutal and he'd slow down to conserve energy, on a race-to-race basis his mentality seems to be inconsistent as he has had good and bad performances.

Dragon's Egg what a legend! Was second to last after the start and instantly carved through the field into the top 5 to challenge Blue Moon...
But so much for 0:44 "you dont wanna see something from the track to cause them to lose a championship"... Collection basins should have been banned long ago... very disappointing that a dodgy track decided the title fight 🙁🙁

Marble Hall of Fame Tracker - Sand Rally
This is something that I have wanted to do for since the end of Marbula One Season 4. I figured that the Sand Rally was the easiest to start looking at creating a Marble Hall of Fame. I have devised a simple tracker for who I think would be in the Sand Rally wing of the MHoF. This is a trial run of the tracker as I wanted to get some feedback before releasing the official one with the conclusion of Season 7 and before Marblula One Season 5 starts (which I will try to have the Marbula One tracker done by the end of the season). Any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated. As a note this tracker only includes data from the A League.
Lets start by looking at how the tracker is set up. I have created a 2 part point system that takes in account both the individual races and the over all results of a season. The individual race medals point values are as follows: Gold - 3pts, Silver - 2pts, and Bronze - 1pts. The season podiums point values are as follows: 1st - 10pts, 2nd - 7pts, 3rd - 5pts.
Now that we have the formula used for the tracker down lets look at how the marbles shake up though the end of S7 Race 9
The top 10 Tracker Scores and their formulas are:
Red Number 3 60pts - 6 Golds, 6 Silvers, 3 Bronzes; 2 Season Wins and a Second Place
Ghost Plasma 51pts - 6 Golds, 5 Silvers, 6 Bronzes; 1 Season Win and a Second Place
Slimer 51pts - 5 Golds, 5 Silvers, 6 Bronzes; 1 Season Win and 2 Third Places
Superball 47pts - 5 Golds, 2 Silvers, 3 Bronzes; 1 Season Win and 3 Third Places
Dragon's Egg 39pts - 5 Golds, 3 Silvers, 3 Bronzes; 1 Season Win and a Third Place
Crazy Cat's Eye 21pts - 5 Golds, 1 Silvers, 4 Bronzes
Pollo Loco 21pts - 3 Golds, 4 Silvers, 4 Bronzes
Ducktape 20pts - 1 Golds, 4 Silvers, 2 Bronzes; 1 Second Place
Quicksilver 19pts - 2 Golds, 5 Silvers, 3 Bronzes
Big Pearl 18pts - 2 Golds, 1 Silvers, 3 Bronzes; 1 Second Place.
The average medal score of all Active Sand Rally Competitors is 12.41 and the Active Overall average is 16.53.
I have broken down The Tracker Scores into a series of categories based on their accomplishments and their Tracker Scores compared to the overall average. The categories are Locks, Likely Members, In The Hunt, And Not Currently Projected (names are a work in process). Lets go through the first 3 categories
Locks
Red Number 3 - 2x winner (back to back), 3rd most medals (with 15). Tracker Score 3.6x the average.
Ghost Plasma - 1st in medal count (with 17), 2 season podiums with one win. Tracker Score 3.1x the average.
Slimer - 2nd in medal count (with 16), 3 season podiums with a win. Tracker Score 3.1x the average.
Superball - Tied for 6th most medals (with 10), 4 season podiums (most) with win. Tracker Score 2.8x the average.
Likely Members
Dragon's Egg - Tied for 4th most medals (with 11), 2 season podiums with a win. Tracker Score 2.4x the average
In The Hunt
Crazy Cat's Eye - Tied for 6th most medals (with 10). Tracker Score 1.3x the average.
Pollo Loco - Tied for 4th most medals (with 11). Tracker Score 1.3x the average.
Ducktape - One season podium (2nd), Tied 10th most medals (with 7). Tracker Score 1.2x the average.
Quicksilver - Tied for 6th most medals (with 10). Tracker Score 1.2x the average.
Big Pearl - One season podium (2nd). Tracker Score 1.1x the average
El Capitan - 9th most medals (with 8). Tracker Score slightly above 1x the average
Cool Moody - One season podium (2nd). Tracker Score 0.9x the average
I'd put Phoenix in the hunt, given their one season podium (the final 2nd) but with a Tracker Score of 11 I didn't feel that they were in the conversation yet.
There are currently 3 marbles who have a Tracker Score of 0: Blazing Fireball, Green Turtle, White Widow
Another note for those wondering about the retired marbles, Fantasy and Tarantula have the highest Tracker Scores amongst the retirees at 4pts each.
If you want to know what your favorite marble's Tracker Score just ask.

That recovery from Red Number 3 was nice but that could’ve been a silver, but hey I will take a 4th place, and there’s a possibility that Blue Moon could win the championship, once was a Showdown status contender to an SMR champion, and we could get a double champion this season if Dragon’s Egg wins the last race.
I'm exhausted just watching these races! The rally courses are just brutal. I don't have a favorite in this circuit and I think I'm glad. It would drive me crazy! This way I get to enjoy it whoever wins.
Both races were crazy intense & both ended with my fav marble in each league winning
6:37 Amethyst flew from about 15th to 4th over that hill, and we need a better camera angle to see that!!

WoD was something else. Such smart plays. They started in a bit of a rough spot somewhat farther back to zooming over the wall at breakneck speed, then to the trick at the turn around. You don't wanna get into a battle of wits with WoD.
vicious A-league course. the b-league racers would not survive even just sitting in the starting gate. only the top make it through.
My first time seeing this..exactly like a a a New Habbit....Marbles ..Race...Great voice...FUN!

Amethyst had a good starting position and made it to 3rd. Shame she won't have a chance to win the whole rally. I'm happy she got a medal though.

Great moves from black knight, showing why he was once in championship contention. Unfortunately the catch basin always seems to screw him over.
Also amazing run from RN3. Fantastic race, taking risks and pulling them off. Interesting to see RN3, Superball and Ghost Plasma within 3 points of each other. That's almost going to be a competition to watch on its own tomorrow.
Wish sand conditions could have been better this season. Superball is my fave, Gotta make that turn in 1st place!!!

Maybe it just because I'm a dirty Wisp fan, but I'm even more excited to see how the B league plays out. When the last time the entire podium was guaranteed before the final race? That requires a consistency you never see.

Cobra could have had a good race, but the snake bites him in the tail.
I made a comment about Big Pearl not being the best at overtakes a bit ago, but after the beginning of this race and the last one, I have to say I was completely wrong, incredibl Marble all around.

Whatever happened to the Marblecast guys? I thought they would continue their podcast after the Marble Survival 100, chronicling the Sand Marble Rally and beyond.
I'm not sure what happened with them, I realize they haven't been active in a while.
RN3 did an amazing job during this season. better than last season. I am so glad to see that rn3 is getting better and I hope we get an even better performance next season! Remember,rn3 needs to train harder to get a championship.

I am going to jinx it right now but it feels amazing, for once, to be cheering for the marble that is in the first position of the rankings. My other two marbles are 4th and 9th... not bad!

What a nail biter of a race! I've been rooting for Dragon's Egg this rally season. So excited to see them in the lead but my heart sank and I was bewildered when suddenly they were out of the race. Then even more confused when they got back in and came in last. This race really had me riding an emotional roller coaster! Let's go Dragon's Egg!! You can still win this!!
