The drainage sewer on my street in Brampton is about the circumference of a dinner plate, when it should be the circumference of a trash lid. Hasn't been updated since the 60's and the it's the reason why the street keeps flooding. Some infrastructure is clearly needed.
Ah but Winnipeg did deal with water. By creating Duff's Ditch, Manitoba managed to convince water to go around the city. We need to adapt to what is clearly becoming a common occurrence.
The Video shows a flooded Lake Shore Boulevard just West of Ontario st, by the CNE and Ontario Place. The Toronto Indy cars will be travelling around 180 mph along Lake Shore next weekend, hopefully.
Bro the racoons and birds are fine they sense these events far more in advance than humans do and they move accordingly. You should worry about your family or perhaps the homeless??
Too much rain very little money to correct situation…Rain will happen again…money is needed to combat…where is the money…we got the rain…On a positive note umbrella sales Tuesday went through the roof…
I heard Olivia Chow blamed Trudeau, boarded a giant inflatable Doug Ford and floated to a convenience close to the future site of Therme's underground parking lot for some ready to drink cocktails.
Why would we spend billions and billions of dollars building a giant underground reservoir that would be used a couple of times per year when we can just dump the excess water in the Don Valley for a couple of days? The whole reason Toronto is covered in ravines and valleys is that the water tends to collect there when it floods.

So does anybody else think the money towards renaming Dundas street might be better served trying to mitigate the flooding issue??
I blame Olivia Chow. She could have levied rain tax to prevent this from happening
