More nightmare fuel 🤣 As a kid, I slept with an old oooold silver “boom box”. Ran on a boatload of D batteries. We grew up pretty poor and didn’t have AC in Louisiana’s hot summers, but with my old boom box and box fan on a chair at the foot of my bed, I managed to sleep. One night I woke up cause the radio was playing loud static. I sat up and saw the little red line moving slowly. It was almost unnoticeable, but sitting in paralyzed fear, just staring at it, it eventually moved all the way to the end of the stations. Idk how long I sat there, too afraid to move, but after that night, I never slept with that thing again lollll Thnx for THAT memory 😂

"haunting static from a vintage radio with reverbs that were captured in the Trans-Allegheny LUNATIC ASYLUM" IS WORKING but not helping with ppl thinking I am NOT CRAZY lolol. In all seriousness... How out of this world thankful I am for this genre of content. I hope you know you're literally saving lives to those of use who suffer from insomnia or random bouts of sleepless nights. I am a nurse and my work has improved SO much because I can sleep better. I hope you creators know you're doing more than just making content...by all intents and purpose YOU'RE adding years to us listeners by helping us with one of the most essential tasks of the human body after nourishment. Thank you for your time, your effort, your very thought of helping others. I wish you all the best and then some. If you ever wondered what a superhero is like................. It's creators of this particular calibre such as yourself. A simple "Thank you" Will never suffice in gratitude but it's an immeasurable one. I humbly thank you all for giving me more time in life, making me a better Nurse which in turn saves more lives and makes the world a better place.
