@NaveenTamtaIamExcelVBA The division should be made using the weekly production hours to accommodate the weekly volume, rather than utilizing the yearly hours for this purpose.
Sir yadi 1 project me 6 hours lagte h to 119344 projects ke liye 119344*06:00:00 processing time hona chahiye but ap devide ke rahe h, please correct me if I am wrong
Hi Jyoti, You're directly multiplying total project count with 6 hours. This is not the correct procedure. You'll first have to calculate number of working days in a year (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) or only Sundays as the case may be. Once you get total working days of a year, you'll then have to calculate total working hours and then follow the procedure as shown in the video. Hope this helps!! If you still come across doubts. You may find my contact info in "About" section of my channel's home page and get in touch. Thanks.
Processing time calculation is not correct...... Its fairly simple unitary method.... 1 transaction takes 6 hours then 2 would take 12 hours and 3 would take 18.....its multiplication not division... Also u divided number format with time which is again incorrect
Thanks Naveen for this Video, I have same question like Aastha... Please elaborate....it will be helpful if you can share the Excel file... Thanks again
Hello Naveen, There is no way that around 229 people and bear a volume of 119344 per week if the SLA is 6 hours per transaction. Please check the calculation again. We are talking about People in a week handling 119344 big volume with SLA of 6 hours. So If we say 229 engineers then working hours divided by SLA (40/6)= Tickets they are handling volume of= 6.6 tickets in a week /Engineer. Now if we multiply it with the manpower you derived it comes to 1526 and that is no were close to 11934 However, If have show some good ways and understanding,
bro he divided the processing time with 2080 hours, which was for the whole year, however, the workload was only for a week, therefore the division would be 40 hours, not 2080 hours.. Also, the calculation here was incorrect as dividing 119344 with 06:00:00 means diving with 0.25 in excel if we divide any number by time it will first divide the time with 24 for example 06/24 = 0.25... Therefore we achieved sooo insanely high number of 477376.
Hi Abhishek, example is based on a hypothetical scenario. Let’s suppose, a company provides two weekly offs to its employees for Sat and Sun. Considering this, If you will exclude week offs from total count of the days falling in a year, you will have remaining networkdays to be 261 and if you multiply 261 with 8 hours that will come out to be 2088. That’s what Shown in the video. But if we want to calculate the capacity on the basis of 1 week off only then subtract the total count of weekly offs with 365 and multiply remaining count with 8. By this way, you will get the projected hours for entire year excluding week off. E.g. 365 days in a year 52 Sundays, so, 365-52=313 313x8=2504 Hope this makes sense!!!
SORRY but i was trying to follow the steps of calculating process time but it only comes in zero figures . PLEASE kindly advise me what it takes in detail as i tried my best to follow the steps
Dear whenever you calculate capacity, we have to take 52 weeks of whole year do that individual week’s capacity could be calculated basis of that. Hope, it make sense!
Very great information thanks for sharing and superb ideas awesome amazing thanks for sharing this helpful information
Nice 1 keep it up
Thank you Naveen for valuable information prsents

Naveen what about if there are holidays in the 2 week and rest of the 2 are normal 5 days working btw super helpful video. 👍
Sure, let me just have a look at your query

Dear Aastha, let me prepare one spreadsheet for you explaining all the thing in elaborating way
bro he divided the processing time with 2080 hours, which was for the whole year, however, the workload was only for a week, therefore the division would be 40 hours, not 2080 hours.. Naveen, why have you divided weekly volume with yearly hours ?? 2080 ?

365-52=313

Hope this makes sense!!!
Wonderful, I also want to know the use of SLA here ?
I have to determine manpower req for sla of 80% calls to be answered in 30 sec with given weekly demand. How to solve that
Hope you can help
Est ce qu’il y’a une version française ?
je vais essayer de télécharger la traduction en anglais, cela fonctionnera-t-il pour vous
SORRY but i was trying to follow the steps of calculating process time but it only comes in zero figures . PLEASE kindly advise me what it takes in detail as i tried my best to follow the steps
volume matlab exactly kya , dose it means no. of employees ??
No, the amount of work you may receive or you’re receiving
💌💌☃️
yaha pe volume kyu assume kiya hai, hr profile mai sales kaha se aaya ?? i am confused brother !!
Capacity planning can be done anywhere. Be it HR or Operations. Volume means, the work which is likely to be received from clients. Hope this helps!!!
Volume is of 1 week so processing time also of 1 week so why hrs of whole year. I didn't understand

Why English title and no english language? This is not fair!
Dear, I will get subtitles added to all my videos
Very difficult to understand, I wasn’t sure if it was your accent or if you were speaking both English and your native language
This video is in Hindi
