I love what you do andreja but i really do miss when your channel was more focused on dolls and doll customizing, you mostly post about your patreon and etsy store and these drawing videos, which are fine and I think you are very talented. I even bought 1 of your charms but the reason I subscribed to you was for doll customizing and lately i rarely see faceup stories or your tutorial series. I know patreon and etsy is what makes you money but if you could consider posting more doll videos again. I know your job isn’t to please me, just 1 fan. :) i still enjoy what you do
Hey A D! Don't worry, I have quite a few doll videos pre-recorded and scheduled for the next 2 months for YT, so they are definitely on their way :) One of them will be released next week.
If I showed you my calendar from 3 months ago I was planning to release 2-3 doll videos and 1-2 drawing videos per month on YT until the end of the year. But for awhile, things have been a bit difficult in the doll hobby for me. I had a looooot of problems getting the right materials needed for my doll projects, I had so many issues with them not working the way I wanted them to, spending way too much time and money trying to find solutions while at the same time still somehow creating content and releasing videos every week. Basically everything got delayed and postponed way too many times and I felt things were completely out of control and made me feel really frustrated to the point I did not want to think about my doll projects for awhile.
So when one hobby gets too stressful and frustrating, I focus my time and efforts on something else where it is easier to be productive. In this case that was drawing, which is why I've been releasing so many videos about it.
I am totally aware that most people here are subscribed for the doll content and practically speaking I could make my channel grow so much faster if I focused on doll content only. I totally wish I could program my brains to focus all my attention on dolls, because it would make my life so much easier and I would keep more of my subscribers happy. But in reality if I want to stay in the doll hobby for many more years, I need to be mindful about not forcing myself to work on doll projects unless I really want to and feels genuine, because that could have a really negative impact and completely ruin the love I have for dolls. This is why there will definitely be times when I focus on other things and take a break from dolls to try and recharge my love/inspiration/motivation/passion/etc for the hobby :)
Thank you for being so nice about it in your comment! While I know that I've been disappointing some people for not having many doll related videos, I know that what I've been doing is the right thing for me and gives me the highest chance to rest, recover and bounce back into my doll projects :)

I know I'd be interested in a new studio tour. I love seeing where and how people do their craft. I use it as inspiration on how to better organize my space. Which gets me motivated to draw, sculpt or work on props!
