I'm so glad to see more interracial couples coming forward and showing love for each other. My first love was a black guy, and I got pregnant at 15. My mom took me to the state she was living at. I placed the baby up for adoption. All the letters that were written between my first love and I. My mom would get the letters he wrote to me and tear them up. I did not know this until 10 yrs ago. I'm white, and I remember my mom saying a white boy would never have anything to do with me because I liked and dated black guys. I'm now 60. I thought he gave up on me. So I continued my life. About 15 yrs ago, while going through a divorce, we were back in touch through fb. We dated for a while, but it just wasn't the same. He had a drinking problem. He was a great guy who did anything for me. But the drinking I couldn't handle. He still has a place in my heart. The baby I had, who I placed for adoption. We reunited about 5 yrs ago. He's in my life now. Love will conquer all. You two have a beautiful family continue to love each other and don't give up.
