20:18 Let me answer that question for you quickly, Mrs. The answer is that "Henry" was supposed to be killed off after a few episodes of season 2. But, the writers liked the actor (Michael Emerson) so much, especially during the "got any milk" scene that they worked him back into the plot. Now, having him as the leader of The Others. This is the side effect of plot changes, it causes some logic issues.
I actually didn't know that. The way I interpreted it back then is that he (Ben) let himself get caught on purpose because he knew he could talk through the hidden cameras and computer to his people like Michael was tricked but probably underestimated how far they were willing to "work" on him... so the others sent Michael back to rescue him. I assumed back then that Ben wanted to analyze Jack and figure out how to convince him to operate on him and save him. If Michael failed, his people could still have come in the camp or at the hatch and rescue him... after all remember they managed to get close enough to leave shots for Claire near the camp...
It works either way. He appeared super smart since day1, so it's not unrealistic he was there the whole time as part of a complex plan. He effectively scouted the enemy HQ and interacted with their "government". And s3 ep1 (and following) shows us he's kinda mean with his people and doesn't really trust them, so it makes sense he would do himself
There isn't any logic issues for this one though, they constructed it nice enough so that even if they didn't plan this they made it logic and what we will find out in the next few episodes are going to make sense of some "illogical" things that she points out.
@@mariushmedias That's exactly what I always thought. Thinking about it now though, it doesn't really make sense for the leader of any group to venture into dangerous territory on their own and unprotected.

The scene between Jack and his Dad at the AA meeting was always one of the saddest scenes in the show to me. I think one of the things that pushed Christian over the edge was realizing how terrible his son thought he was, since Jack had no trouble thinking his dad'd go after his wife, even though he didn't. Christian was a douche, but he wasn't some comical villain. He was just a bit of a dick who regretted not being a good dad, and was crushed when he realized his son pretty much hated him.
