    Some of my takeaways:
    1. Two games a day max
    2. Do your puzzles (15/15 if possible, 60 percent is good, set aside an hour).
    3. Don't do TOO many puzzles. Don't do too much.
    4. Stick to one opening
    5. Sometimes you need a break. Don't always be playing. Everyone gets tilted and that's okay, just gotta take a break.

Thank you so much, Levy. I was doing a lot of the same things as the 1600, but I'm starting to see quantifiable improvement from your advice. Cut back on empty games, stopped rushing puzzles, and tuned up my openings. Man, it is wild. I feel like I'm spotting way more tactics, feeling confident throughout entire games start to finish, and my puzzle rating is way higher than it has ever been by a huge margin.
I'm a 40 hr/week manager but finding times for good, focused practice daily. I have been stuck around 1600-1800 for about 5 years and suddenly I'm absolutely crushing at my level. Waiting for a new peak!

I’ve been stuck at the same rating for 3 years. You often see people achieve a certain rating and then drop back. It’s very common. Maintaining a rating is a different story.

Hey Levy, just found this video. In 2017-18, I got hard into chess and was rated around 1100. I finally came back this year and have been stuck around 750. I decided to pick one opening for white (London) and two for black (Sicilian Dragon and Budapest), focusing on eliminating blunders and playing solid moves, and have gone up from 750 to 850 in the last month. I finally have my passion for chess again and hope to keep climbing the ratings.
