Just in time, I need to setup scheduling in the next few days.
In my opinion, SF is really when you need a workflow that involves multiple steps. If you really want to schedule something, eventbridge is the way to go.
Glad to see EventBridge Scheduler finally supports auto-delete after completion.
Before EventBridge scheduler came to be, it was possible to achieve the same with CloudWatch Events. Except for auto-deleting fired timers, IIRC.
Eventbridge is a rebranding of Cloudwatch Events. Its the same thing more or less
14:12 do you mean 1 million timer instances?
I use the scheduler to fire up a SF at a set rate. Works like a charm.
