      I mean they're just wasting power tuning the diesels to make smoke like that. They'd have way more power and way fewer explosions if they dialled the air up and the fuelling down a little.

      @geopolitix7770 7 месяцев назад +1

      How stupid are these people? Massive over egged diesel waiting to run away and there's no fuel shutoff in easy reach?? Let's all stand around in t shirts and baseball caps hoping it doesn't explode? 🤯

    • @dcf8978
      @dcf8978 7 месяцев назад +2

      @geopolitix7770 It was probably burning its own oil, not diesel fuel. I would imagine they would need a fuel shutoff to pass a safety inspection. Once the engine starts burning its own oil, the only way to shut it off it to block the air intake so it can't get more oxygen to burn

    • @geopolitix7770
      @geopolitix7770 7 месяцев назад +1

      @dcf8978 this safety inspection you speak of sounds likely... I'm not sure how rigorous it is if the safety blocks standing round are holding mini extinguishers and not dressed for the job. I've done track marshaling for bikes that hardly ever caught fire and even then we had to have full overalls and 4kg extinguishers. But you could still be right

I went out to the bar about once a month and built my pulling tractor on a small budget, their money was gone down the drain by Sunday. i built that tractor in 1997 and still have it sitting in the shed after i quit running it. some of those other guys are dead or have bad health issues "from the lifestyle", and others went bankrupt. i went to pulls met loads of great people had lots of fun and enjoyed every minute of it, Who was the idiot out of all of us !
