여행을 가는데 미쳐 머리를 다듬지 못하고 왔다...
하지만 전부터 제주도에 가면 꼭 가보고 싶은 바버샵이 있었다.
제주 공항에서 차 타고 8분 거리에 위치한 맥퀸 바버샵은
미카 바버를 중심으로 2명의 여성 바버와 1명의 남성 바버가 운영 중이다.
미카 바버의 눈에서 보이는 카리스마와 그에 걸 맞는 가위 스킬은 나의 제주 바버샵
원정을 성공적으로 만들어 주었다.

Female Barbers are really cool. They are breaking gender stereotypes in a unique way.
It's funny because in my country barbers are women 90% of the time. And men are considered to be the exception.

I remember when women were the exception .. the barbers in my area were old and ready for retirement or the cemetery and ended up scalping me .. after like a year of passing by this small salon I impulsively walked into a tiny old “ grandma” beauty shop next to my apartment building asked the 2 elderly ladies if they could cut my hair which they were more than happy to.. they were getting ready to wash my hair .. I started getting a bit nervous and had second thoughts as the one lady started shampooing me .. but I kept cool as the one took the clippers to my head ..They did a perfect cut so much better than any barber I went to. Although they were beauticians they did a Damn good job Cheaper than the barber and gave me a very thorough shampoo.
