Chris, I need to sincerely thank you for not cutting off or editing your struggle with the grid syntax. Sometimes I get the feeling that I, with the label of a "senior front end engineer", shouldn't struggle with grids and other CSS stuff, especially after reading so precise articles like yours. I came to refresh my knowledge about sticky positioning, and went out more confident about my craft, after seeing that even an awesome developer like you isn't perfect. Thank you! (:
Great stuff. And having a print background, loved your ode to it and how you feel css. Despite seeming off, even the "align" debugging is cool to have. You commented the solution but it would also be cool to see you discover it and have a "continue to" tutorial click option on the video or description. Loved the Twilight end.
Fantastic video. I'm not a css wizard and so I release a lot of f-bombs trying to get anything to vertically center or make something sticky. I mean sometimes I want to throw my laptop across the room. It really shouldn't be this hard. I mean damn! But you make it look easy and I appreciate that. Thank you.
thank you it really helped!my sticky postion didn't work as well!it worked but half of the page!so found out i have to set a height for my div which it had a paragraph !i guess footer and the div width out height had been mixed up together and that was why sticky position didn't work!but now i fixed it thank you so much
