Man there was so much to this, multi layered. I watched 1030 for hours building this, then he got our hopes up saying he was gonna get him off Elden Ring and onto Rust, no one thought it'd happen, but JH knows exactly how to get to him 😂😂 Then he doesn't notice the H, then he doesn't realise it's JH and then the multiple killings afterwards. Greatest thing I've ever watched. 1030 just popping back up after being killed over and over. I was fucked Sunday and it was worth it.
I was watching Limmy play Elden Ring when 1030 came into his chat talking about "something's happened to your museum" and Limmy went off for like 5 minutes about how someone probably brought the attack heli to his base and destroyed it, and how people need to be respectful of artistic projects. Then he logged in to see this. I was fuckin dying. Well played to JH, and to Limmy for the "H L" turnaround. The whole thing was absolute gold.
I stayed up till about 3.30am Saturday morning watching this, was 100% worth being knackered all day Sunday. King of Paranoia actually thought it would be a pile of rubble, but this was 100x better. JH 1 - 0 Limmy.
This is why I feel anxious before loading the game. Yesterday I put the game on, woke up naked outside my base. They'd taken everything and changed the door they broke for one of their own with a lock on it. It was only day 2 of the server, so I didn’t have the stuff to break thier door. My base would always be susceptible to raiding until I got explosives, so I rage quit.
If this Rust server gets quiet or people get bored they should totally enact a monarchy. Have a battle royale and the winner becomes an emperor, and their buildings can't be damaged. Maybe have seasons.
