That story about boyfriends just having total control over stuff is so crazy to me. That just sounds ridiculous! This video is fun it feels so natural. You've very good at creating this feeling like we're just talking as friends.
I would say that your channel has changed me too! It has made me happier and a calm person and your videos always helped me sleep! Love you Shushanna! 😍🥰💛💛

I became super interested in Armenia since I found out about your channel years ago, it's not a part of the world that was very obvious for me, I'd love to visit one day. I think you are a great ambassador for your country. I've just started the video but I can already tell I'm going to really enjoy it, thank you for all that you do!
thank you for sharing your perspectives + opinion. I rspect that and would never shame you for that. I hope you do more videos like this, the're enjoyable and knowlegdeable ! love from france
First, I've been here for so long that I even remember that femenism video when you post it. Second: it's so interest hearing about this not only from someone of another sex, but from basically the opposite side of the world. Thirth: languages are a door for a lot of new worlds; my native language is Spanish, but I was lucky to have the chance of learning english since 15 y.o. and that change a lot of stuff for me since then. Now, about the relationship topic: even now it's so complicated all this things about taking the other one phone to seach for infidelity, this "permissions" are an absurb thing between two grown up adults.
So I'll be honest, I did drift off a little at parts -- it's always very relaxing to listen to you. But I think that I agreed with what you were saying, and it was nice to learn a bit more about you and about culture in Armenia. As for receiving a lot of hate after speaking about "western" ideas... for many years now there's been this venomous sort of anti-democracy and anti-equality kind ideology. I'm sure you've caught at least some of the more shocking examples. As an American it can be really disorienting trying to see outside of this country -- to get a perspective that isn't just hyper focused on American-centric stuff. So I really don't know how much has penetrated to further away places, but I do know that hateful ideas have been spread pretty well of late since there are a whole lot of individuals all over who are happy to coat the world in misery if it helps them. Or sometimes even if it doesn't, they just want others to be harmed in some way or other. Also, it's worth noting that "Western" is very often used by those same sorts of people as a false divide. Aside from being a general direction, there is no set "western" part of the world or even a specific "western culture." There are minor differences all over the place, even within countries -- while also there are tons of similarities between people from distant places. And I think you are a great example of the similarities -- first time viewers can and usually do make the assumption that you're from a western part of Europe. Because there's not a whole lot of difference between people if you don't get caught up in nationalities. We all tend to care about the same main elements -- personal freedoms and well being and being with people we care about. Anyway, thank you for the video :)
This is already gonna be an interesting video and I've not even watched it yet. Love discussions and things more personal to you, it lets us learn more about you and it gives us tingles simultaneously 😇
I dunno how relevant this'll be to this particular video. But one of the things I've always struggled with grasping in regards to living as a whole. Is that, it's hard to live in a world where we have to be accepting towards those who aren't accepting.
This vidéo is really interesting as a man I find really important to have acces to those stories and thought thank you very much As a French I feel so bad about what you experienced with this person and thos egoistic comportement are not that rare unfortunately
It seems that you have been really overwhelmed with this topic, I understand it can be hard to be torn between societies and cultures and I hope you're free of others now and live your life fully as you wish. You seem like a very sweet, polite, smart and caring person with many amazing opinions
In the world, there are many people that ask us to be open minded whilst giving their views. The real key in this world is if we can be open minded when receiving the views back about our views and what we hold dear. You seem like the kind of person that would receive views, when conducted in the right way. I have to say, I did history at uni. I work in historical research. But the best university is the one of life. Experiences make us who we are. And at 45, that's not to say kids that you shouldnt study hard if you are pursuing that route. ♥️♥️
Okay. Funny true story: I was an exotic dancer in the USA in the 90s, and my boss who owned the club was Armenian. He was very good to me and the other girls. We were paid and respected, which was very odd. I believe Sadak was his last name, I think.
Hi MissASMR I Hope you are having a wonderful Day today 😎👍 And you are the best at ASMR Ever 😎😃👍 And you are the Awesomeness RUclipsr and Person Ever 😎😃👍 I think your ASMR Videos Are So Awesome 😃👍
I think the internet is amazing but it has seemingly made us overconfident in our communication with others. A video/ virtual connection with someone else over the web is really cool but it’s not a substitute for actual physical engagement. Regardless of the virtual space people may meet, different places have different cultures and customs and we need to be more mindful of that. You’re right Shushana, it can be quite a problem. I know it’s been creating difficulties in the US; we’re a very big country with lots of different cultures but some people just want it to be homogeneous even though we’re far from it.
I think you are so right! I'm so sorry to hear you had so much hate. There will always be shitty people in this world, and sadly they tend to be loud. I think there is a big misconception that feminism means "hating men", and I find that people who are so anti feminism often are either uneducated about what feminism actually means, or they are insecure and don't want to lose their "right" to boss around women. (of course, that is just my opinion) It was so interesting to hear about your thoughts, struggles and experiences! You do you! 😊 Lots of love from Sweden! ❤️
I can try to explain why I think westerners reacted negatively to your promotion of feminism, if you’d like. I had never considered that such a thing might happen, and I never realized just how bizarre such a thing must look to someone living outside of those countries. Having lived in the U.S. my whole life, I’ve come to understand a lot of our complicated issues that surely look like complete and utter nonsense to the rest of the world.
Is that a yes? I’d like to try to help explain it for you. I wouldn’t want to oversimplify something like this, but I also wouldn’t want to write a whole long message if you’re just gonna skip past it and think “this guy is crazy” haha
I think after some time I understood it. I got some explanation :) Not sure if you will say the same thing but I think that that topic is pretty clear to me. Just what I saw and how I pictured things was very different at the time.
If you ever visit Los Angeles, hit me up. I will give you live asmr for the years you have given us. And Armenia has something way better than America.....you. Keep strong. And never get offended by an oldschool man who tells you, " you are so bella". I went to A system of a down concert and partied with amazing Armenians. Would love to meet you , one day. Celebrate differences.
I tried to watch this twice and hear everything...but it's too long to not let your whispers affect me. Maybe I have to try at a time other than in bed at night or at home right after work, because those are the best times to sleep...
The term "who am i to judge" is so silly to me youre a human who has to exist with the actions of other humans its natural for you to have an opinion on what their thoughts and actions are because they may have a potential impact on you as you exist within the same a society as them...
But yet when you do have an opinion and its not popular by the media or ideologies imposed by minorities, you can get cancelled and/or lose your job. Its retarded.
Really interesting to hear your thoughts, Shushanna! I remember your 'feminist' role-play video from early 2015 and the furore it met with among some respondents. I also remember vigorously defending you and the video itself from their comments, with the result that some of the same respondents then verbally attacked me too. One of the things that I think is worth remembering when trying to understand what happened there is that the west is heterogeneous and diverse both intellectually and culturally, and that accordingly, there are many differences of opinion in the west. Another is that some intellectual concepts have the backing of most intellectuals but are rejected by many non-intellectuals and anti-intellectuals who perceive those intellectual concepts and their promotion in society as threatening to the status quo or to their established ways of life, mores and values. It remains my opinion to this day that there was absolutely nothing wrong with that video of yours or with any of the ideas and views you expressed or related in it. The problem I see as lying squarely in the antipathy towards feminist values in certain vocal subsections of the community in some western countries, chiefly among some men there. I'll continue in my life to stand up for the values of feminism, and if that alienates some other men from me, that doesn't matter. I'm loyal to my values and not to any sense of brotherhood with other males. And my values always support women and their rights.
I don’t think the issue was necessarily that people disagree with the concept of women’s rights. I think the problem is a bit more complicated than that, and is largely rooted in the more negative connotation the word “feminism” has adapted in the west lately due to its misuse. I think because of that, a lot of people developed a bit of an itchy trigger finger when it comes to defending against such things. It’s surely more complex than simply saying intellectuals are feminists and non-intellectuals are against it.
@@maanokay2553 I just want to say that feminists have been slandered since women first started to fight for the right to vote, not just "lately." There are propaganda posters from the early 1900s depicting feminists as ugly and undesirable because they wanted equality.
I just want to say thank you for supporting feminist values. This comment was exactly what I had wanted to say, only from a female’s prospective. I appreciate that you took the time to write out that well thought out explanation and comment. I think her past video might have upset some of her male followers, and I think that she has a large male following, so the overwhelming negative response may have just been due to that. I can’t imagine the position Shushanna is in being a RUclipsr from Armenia and getting an onslaught of hate from western people on her video. And what she said is true, women’s rights are not federally ratified. Anyway, I just want to thank you truly for supporting feminism and what it truly stands for-equality for all genders.
@@MotherofMabelLuna You're welcome. Yes, I think it must have been an upsetting experience for such a peaceful person to receive such a vitriolic reaction. You're absolutely right that feminism stands for equality and fairness. There would appear to be some men who are threatened by the loss of their traditional patriarchal dominance to the degree that they have conjured up straw man views of feminism in order to denigrate it. It would not surprise me even if there are some men so opposed to feminism that they actively search RUclips for keywords like 'feminism' and 'feminist' for the specific purpose of weighing in against feminism on RUclips and making their views appear to be more widely held than the fringe reactionary ones they truly are.
@@maanokay2553 yikes... and thank YOU for not writing some long verbose nonsense and instead actually trying to inform people what’s happening. What you’ve said is vague but it’s still more meaningful than most of what I see other women saying on the internet lately.
