Share holder quota is a big scam. In Bajaj Housing Finace Ltd I applied for 6 lots only through Share holder quota and got not even one allotment. On the other hand some retailer just walked in, applied through retail quota and got alloted. I now feel I too should have applied through retail quota and not through Share holder quota

Should i hold ipo 2-3 days to see if it goyes even higher ? I got a good upside after listing in premier energies and still holding. But at the same time i held tolins tyres and yesterday 1 lot of tolins is in 2k loss despite looking like a good company. So I'm confused about the strategy.
Can I link my hold/sell decision to the over subscription rates and listing gains? Like 20-30% LG then hold or else sell on listing? Because tolins wasn't OS much and neither there were good LG, but the stock was in upper circuit for the whole day of listing and last 2 days it's on the lower circuit.
