After putting the trumpet down for about a year, your videos encouraged me to pick it back up today. I am a bit rusty with the high parts, (I can get up to a F5, but it takes a few tries) but I am just happy to be playing again. Your videos are way more powerful than you think, I love watching them and commenting. Thank you.

I have added this into my daily routine. If you want to play high notes you have to “play up there”.This is a brilliant song to do just that! Thank you!

In fact, your cover would have made the ending of, Twilight Breaking Dawn, more sincere and moving (I watched the ending with its sound off and you playing )...simply brilliant; your cover conveys tremendous emotion, from start to finish, with no lulls to let the listener's mind wander off.

I have an overbite and have found that trying to not press your lips against the mouthpiece as hard helps. I realise that your supposed to do that anyway but I think it really helps especially with having an overbite. Try setting the trumpet on a table or something where it's not being held in place and try playing it👍
I use Finale. And really? Hmmm. I can only see the sample on musicnotes, but it looked to be relatively the same to mine other than some note lengths. I'm hoping to get my specific sheet music online, but it hasn't happened yet, so I figured I would offer the musicnotes link for now since it seemed similar.

I guess the only tip I have is to try and hit the high notes effortlessly. The more effort you put into them typically the worse it will be.

Dry lips and a bit more airflow,
Back off pressure on lips by barely holding the trumpet, then practice lip trills, in the arbans, the muscle will build up to it.
