HMS Raleigh Passing Out Parade 8th December 1989

  • "A Day to Remember" video from HMS Raleigh on 8/12/1989. This was Artificer Apprentice 89/3 entry passing out but there are plenty of others passing out on the same day. If you were there please leave a comment.
    I was a member of Thompson Division with Gary Langthorne as the Divisional Petty Officer and Lt. Andy Vandome as the Divisional Officer.
    All I really remember about this day was suffering from severe Tonsillitis and almost 'passing out' on the parade ground.

    I was Benbow 43 I remember it being extremely cold but did not care as it was the best day of my life.

    I’m the tall one on the end of the first line of wrens. Wow brings back memories and yes it was blooming cold 🤣

    Was 893 Bass division and still in! Not quite as fresh faced though.
