Lol. I just commented on the Sportster Scrambler build saying the only thing I would want is under seat extra fuel. You guys have thought of everything. Combine this and the Sportster Scrambler and its the perfect bike.
The bike does look great now for on / off road & yeah the Yoshi pipe is cool. Also great idea to integrate an aux fuel tank under the seat & left side.
If I won the lottery this first thing I would do is contact you guys, rent a shop or studio nearby and collab on build. I would pay to be an annoying shadow learning and watching along the way. I wouldn’t buy a house or retirement plan. Just a vast series of hybrid vintage scramblers and adventure bikes.
Some interesting aspects to this bike. My Honda Innova (ANF125) has a tail tank like that one. I like the change of wheels / change of style, I might try that myself (on the Innova!), also the easy luggage removal. Was the handling so bad that it had you all over the road like that? Not good..
Love the bike but for the $ most would have to do it themselves. What was the cost of build? As most dr650 people own the bike for the minimal cost to customize.
That probably correct, but most people dont have the skills to finish a bike to this quality. We provide the experience and skill to those who either can't do it themselves, or want a higher level of quality on their custom bike.
@@PurposeBuiltMoto I live and ride in NSW. I've got 3 registered bikes. 1 dirtbike and 2 road bikes. The cops around here just hassle everyone. I've had 1 of my bikes defected for "non standard indicators " and 1 I've had to get noise tested twice , it passed both times but a noise defect comes the threat of registration being canceled until it passes epa noise regulations. I assume nothing. I speak from experience.
That sucks for you, but nothing to do with our bikes. We use street legal lighting (available in our store if you want to stop getting defected) and make sure our bikes are built right
@@PurposeBuiltMoto fair enough mate. You obviously don't ride in the Hunter Valley . Don't take it so personal .. I wasn't criticizing the bike , I think the bike is awesome, I was talking about over zealous cops.
I am amazed. I’ve always thought the DR was for cautious tech geeks and cuck motorcyclists. A DR rider would be the same man that wears a sun bonnet and zip off cargo pants or a grown man wearing a helmet riding a tandem rad bicycle. Finally someone has changed my mind about the DR. They always seemed goofy, bulky and underpowered. Now am wondering if I am becoming a convert. Who knows, maybe I’ll even have pronouns one day…
@ Damn, is it that obvious?!! 😂😅 I always thought KTMs were a pretentious suburban dad bike since I came up around two stroke 500’s. I’ve actually spent the last week researching the 1997 two stroke 380 to see if that maybe a suitable option compared to a stroked big bore 576. I am on the fence. Sold my TS 250 flat tracker in the hopes to build a TS 400 in the meanwhile fell in love with the TT500 along the way. Stumbled upon your incredible builds in the process yet I am now 40 years old and boarding the KTM train for reliability, versatility and decreasing testosterone levels…. You called it man!! 👨 ♿️ Going to look at the Ktm 576 on Monday 👏
9.5/10 killer build havnt seen another dr650 like this at all
Sick build. Style is killer and the rear tank is a genius.
Absolutely brilliant work Tom! One of your best yet. Keep up the great work!
You knocked this one out of the ballpark!
This is my dream build. I’m going to build a xr650r into a street tracker one day for sure.
What a crazy transformation! Epic work dudes 🙌🙌
Thankyou Mr. Mango

Cheers mike, our rider is heading out on an adventure ride soon which should test the concept well!
Very nice build. Beautiful bike!
That paint job is giving me StreetHawk vibes ❤❤❤
Sick build!
Lot of work has gone into that dr650! 👌❤👍

Love that thumper.
Love it! Been waiting ages for you to show this!
All good things take time Dale 👍🏼
I think I saw this bike parked on the side of the road in Burleigh yesterday... Certainly caught my eye. Stunning build guys. Very impressive.
Yep that would have been the one, it’s a Gold Coast local
I want to do this to my dr650 so bad. GREAT job on this
The street version is an absolute beaut
That is such a rad build, Tommy! Beautiful stuff again from the PBM lads 👌
You just keep that nice DR of yours away from our shop lukey!

That’s a pretty good way to blow some money
I like it 👌🏽
a very pretty lookin Doctor Big
These are great bikes. Take them off road too. Its sad suzuki never imported them into uk. The best motor out.
Love it. Amo ese diseño.

Incredible work! Looks absolutely perfect!
Where do i get those mirrors?
Jump onto our website mate we sell the mirrors there. Link in the description
@@PurposeBuiltMoto great, thanks!
That's badass
That rear tank is really nice, and the fact it can be removed is really cool
Hey! The bike looks amazing? Did you consider building that rear tank and selling it? I’d definitely buy it!
We’ve been asked many times, but we don’t want to remake it. It was a special build for our mate Tobin

Ssssick built!
That's awesome. But the cops in NSW would defect it so much it'd be unregistered after the first ride.
It’s Regod in NSW, you’re assuming a lot

The removable rack system, is this something you guys plan on selling, or is it a one-off assembly?
We make these systems unique for our clients. No plan to re produce this work
Anywhere we can buy these parts for this bike?
How much it cost for you to fab me a tank for a dr just like that and that little front fender thing
What is the seat based off of?
Do all this mods affect the rego? Does the bike need to be inspected by the transportation office to be registered?
Yeah, it’s fine though
Did this bike's dry weight end up being less or more than the stock weight?
I can’t remember, it will probably be listed on the blog on our website. Link is in the video notes
Nice, Scrambler yes, but not anywhere close to a Street Tracker.
I don’t like it.
I love it.
I feel the same way about cricket 🏏 and so do my dudes from UB40
🇦🇺😎👍
So its an enduro
