This lesson is basically a "by ear transcription" that i did but i've checked a video or 2 to make it accurate enough. This could mean that the guitarplayer plays certain chords or riffs with a different fingering or at places the picking pattern could be slightly different. I am confident though that the tutorial should be pretty ok...
Chances are that I don't cover each and every variation to the theme or chorus, but this tutorial should give you a solid base for those few alterations that are played in the original song.
    enjoy this new video!

I cannot believe I have finally made it the entire way through the tutorial. Thank you so much for teaching the brilliant song, and I'll be referencing your videos as I work my way to mastery of this song. Thanks again for all your hard work. :)

Oh btw I've been using an Ultimate guitar tab to learn the order of chorus, verse, etc. and it's pretty crappy compared to what I've learned from you. I'd prefer to use your tab but it's not working, any idea of when it'll be available again?

Hope to have it available soon but I'm in the middle of an immigration so can't tell for sure.
I'd just use the song and your ears for learning the order of things

7 years later. Still a big thanks from me. Was awesome learning it. Next step: make it smooth and also be able to sing to it. Give me 2 more days and i got it!

I'm so grateful for the lesson, after of a lot of practice I'm proud of say that I can already play it almost perfectly. That was thanks to you, wonderful teaching technique and amazing teacher I could say :D ! A big thumb up!
If I don't bother you, I would like to propose more Passenger, any song would be great, I love all his music ^_^
Good bye and thanks again :)

Your Guitar Workshop Awesome, thank you so much ^_^!
Shame I cannot sing at the same time, it's too hard to pay attention of many things (play, the lyrics, have the rhythm, sing without sound like a dying whale hahaha), now I'm getting focus on it :)

hahaha "sing without sound like a dying whale" you crack me up with that sentence… About playing and singing. Focus on 4 bars of playing and singing only. It takes time to get the hang of it. Try to know/feel which words come together with which strikes of your fingers.

Your Guitar Workshop Ok, I'll follow your advice :) . I've been watching some videos of Mike playing it to realize which words come with which exactly parts as you said and other videos to know some tips of how to play and sing at the same time, I think all that remains is to practice. Thank you so much for the replies by the way :D !

The chords aren't the standard open chords that you have stated, it's the right shapes but you have a capo on your guitar so the chord names are wrong

Kerry White "it's the right shapes but you have a capo on your guitar so the chord names are wrong" true, not arguing with that at all. But most people use a capo in this way, without having to know about C#'s F#'s etc. That is why I'm doing it like this. And when you use a capo they do become the open chords I stated, that's the great bit about using a capo. Whether it is better from a teaching standpoint is another discussion but as I'm catering for anyone who checks out my videos I think this is the best choice.
